Computer ... you know why?? ... becasue I can still rent DVDs, listen to music, play all the computer games I could ever wish for and do my work ...
The computer would still have much more applications without and internet then a tv without cable.
I am for computers :-)

i would choose a computer without internet. i think i can't live without a cable network. it's easy if i have a computer without an internet connection. i could just go to the nearest internet cafe and use their internet. if i don't have a cable network, i couldn't just go to my neighbor's house and watch cable there, right? hehe. but still it's better to have both internet and a cable network. =)

I think I will choose the television because at least the program is different every day. A computer without internet only has the same thing and nothing can be done except if you have work which requires you to use a computer. To me internet is as if my life. I can't live without it.

I'd toss the cable TV. That's an easy one for me. There's DVD's, files to be had, and the world wide web for the plucking. They don't call the TV the idiot box for nothing, although I do watch it on occasion...;

When having to make this choice before because we couldn't afford to have both internet and cable tv, my husband and I have chosen to keep the internet. Because it's such a large part of our lives in terms of keeping in touch with other people as well as entertainment value. So living without cable tv would be much easier than living without internet.
Besides, we have a decent dvd collection, including entire seasons of some of our favorite shows. So it wouldn't be that bad not to have cable, because we always have things we could watch anyway.

My life experiences have put me in a state of mind where I need neither. As a Kid....we were always outside playing , not on the computer , or..watching T.V. and there were only three channels I could get on my Black-& White T.V. Understand....just like Diamonds....these things are Luxuries , not necessities.

I would have no problem giving up cable networks, since I didn't have cable for over four years. The only reason we have it now is because we got a package deal with our internet. :) After the contract is over, though, we will probably drop the cable and go back to watching DVDs more often.

Its really a difficult question, i think i will choose TV for the person gets bored while sitting by the computer and listening songs the whole day and nowadays Channels which are not under cable are also moving fast , one can watch serials, listen to songs or watch movies on the TV.
TV still provides more services than computer without Internet.
Nw tell ur Opinion.

since I already do not have cable television, nor any television reception at all - this is a fairly easy question for me to answer. I do not have to ponder a bit.
I choose to keep my internet connection - which I could (If I had a faster connection) watch all the cable shows on anyhow... the day after. heh.

I could definelty go without cable. I would rather have internet service because I need it for my graphic design work then have cable. I have said on here times before that I pay WAY too much on my cable bill anyway- they can take it...LOL

Television without cable. I seldom watch TV because I'm on the internet all the time. That would be my choice.
Sunday night is the only night I would miss it because it's the only night I watch TV with my husband. We watch Home and Garden TV. We love Rezoned where factories, warehouses, churches, old stores, etc. become houses. Also, I love underground homes and there was one about tree houses and another one about weird homes made from strange things like cement, tires, or recycled steel.
But night after night, I'm on the internet. I have to submit my hours for my regular job online because the company I work for is in another state. That's how I get paid. Also, many nights I'm on Mylot and I also write for Helium.
So the TV could just be my regular home stations to get the weather and the local news. But the computer has to be on the internet. Take care

I would have the television without cable because I rarely watch television and can watch movies on my computer. I would rather have my internet service definitely because it is also where I work too so I would loose my income if I didnt have my computer, I would be just a fat couch potato.
