Ever talked to someone & not heard ONE word when looking right at them?

I've actually nodded and looked directly at another person and sometimes even responded and seconds or minutes later I had to say...WHAT? Realizing I had NO idea what had been said to me. What causes this with some people? Are they just long winded? Are they boring? Are we so preoccupied? Has this ever happened to you and if so why do you think so?

Yes I sure have. I've been so tired from what ever it is I was doing that my mind just wonders off in like a twilight sleep. I think that happens to everybody at one time or another. We're all human after all.

lol yep it has happened to me before. Not sure why it happens but its like I space out sometimes.
