I often put some cinnamon in my coffee, it gives a great taste and makes it a little different from the usual. Have you tried cinnamon or other spices in your coffee??

Hi. buenavida. I have tasted some coffee that is made with orange spices in it. It also has cinnamon in it too. It is very yummy and rich in taste as well. I love it!

Hi, cream97 - that sounds good. I might try to take a peel of the orages I have at home now. They are organic, so there should not be any poisons there.. Enjoy your coffee..

I do put cinnamon in my coffee from time to time. I've also put in nutmeg, sage, and basil on other occasions. I've come back to nutmeg and basil from time to time, sage is still in deliberation.

I make my coffe with a *sprinkle* of cinnamon in the grounds. It has an unique flavor. I know that my husband/boyfriend prefers it made that way. My sister uses *pumpkin pie spice* in her coffee sometimes. She does rave about it, so it must be good.

Nice to learn that others like the coffee with spices. I have no idea what the pumpkin pie spice is, but I also use ginger bread spices in my coffee, perhaps these spices are used in pumpkin pie as well..?

I will use cinnamon in cappuccino , but I have never tried it in my actual coffee. I do not think that I would like it much.

Good to see you again, bk, yes, capuccino must be good with cinnamon. And why not test it with ordinary coffee too..you might like it ..:)

I love coffee but I am not very good in making a good mix. That's why I usually buy those in sachets so I don't have to worry how many teaspoons of sugar, creamer or sugar. There are lots of variety of coffee in the supermarket. Also when I go to coffee shops, that's when I get to taste different types of coffee.

Yes, the sachet coffees probably taste good. But how expensive are they? I just thought that ordinary coffee could be cheaper and it is easy to learn how much you need for every cup you wish to brew. The sachets are of course easy to use..:)

I put cinnamon on the dry coffee grounds before I turn on the coffee maker. Sometimes I put cocoa powder in with the grounds or vanilla extract, or a combination of them. I like to have it taste different and it's easier to do it this way than buy flavored creamers. I don't use milk or creamers in my coffee so I can change the taste this way anytime I want.

That´s a good idea, I have tried it too, but not tested vanilla yet, must be good and no need to eat cakes with the coffee - less sugar - I usually put the cocoa into the cup and mix it with milk before pouring the coffee on, but I guess it could work this way too. Thanks for your response.

My husband/boyfriend also puts cinnamon in his coffee grounds before brewing. Cinnamon does give the coffee a special flavor. My sister likes to put pumpkin pie spice in her coffee before running the coffee maker. With a little cream, it makes the coffee taste really rich.

We go back and forth between cinnamon and nutmeg, though nutmeg is our favorite. When we put the grounds in the filter, we had a few teaspoons of nutmeg to it and it gives the coffee a distinct flavor.
