I Feel So Broke All the Time!! *cries*

It's weird, since the start of this year, I have been living on a tight budget wishing to save more money for my career break later the year. I have saved a bit of money but I am not sure if it's going to sustain me through all those months. And now, I have been feeling so broke (probably the most broke of my live!). I try to opt for things which are cheaper and save a few more bucks each day! Sometimes I just get really tired of it! What about you? Do you feel financially happy? Or do you have to worry about your number all the time?

you're not alone! i feel so broke all the time too! T_T ..i'm trying hard to save but it's also hard to resist the temptation to shop :P ..i'm always over budget and i'm starting to worry because this has to stop..i can't be spending all the time! try investing or something, and keep putting in money in that investment, maybe that will help in long-term. good luck!

Yes putting money on investment is good! Be sure putting on something low risk! Right now, I am losing money on my investment *laughs*. I tell myself instead of shopping for clothes, shop for stocks! Wish you good luck!

i'm a newbie in investing, i've only tried investing in unit trusts and few years ago i consulted a financial advisor at the bank on which unit trusts to invest in. so far i'm pretty satisfied with the ROI that i'm getting. i don't do online investments (hyip) or shares..too scared of the risk!

i worry about money almost all the time because i am living on a tight budget as well and i have debts to pay off... but i don't feel broke... i feel sufficient and grateful to God for whatever He has given me... i have to adapt my lifestyle to my earnings but i don't feel tired... in fact, i am happy and i always feel that i am much more luckier than most of the people out there who are jobless and homeless... i hope you will be able to get out of your financial struggle situation soon... take care...

You're right, we are way more lucky than people who are homeless! At least I can still do my things at my place. Thanks!

Hi Yeah, we haven't had any money to spare for quite a while. It's getting rather stressful. We can barely afford food. I keep hoping things will get better, but they haven't been. Oh well. I'll keep plugging away.

I know how it feels! I start to get stressed out this morning too but I guess I really don't need to think about it and ruin my daily life. I am sorry to hear your situation, hopefully things will get better for you.

Hong Kong's living cost is high. Here everything's price keep increasing but except for one thing. I think everybody can guess what it is. That is our salary:) So it's hard for me to cover the budget. I especially have less saving after I have my child.

Hello wondericequeen, I had a bad financial planning when I just started working. As I was a terrible shopper, I spent too much on stuff that I don't really need in my whole life *laughs* But after getting married, I started to change for good. It is for the sake of my family. I experienced the same last time. When I had a problem with my big amount of credit card debt, I started to realize it was not an easy life if you don't plan your financial wisely. I learned a lot during 'I am broke' time *laughs* I am lucky that I settled the debt and managed to start a new life. Right now, I am happy with my financial but I still don't get a total financial freedom.

It's really hard to achieve financial freedom but I am sure you are working towards your goal! Yes I was basically the same before and now I am still learning to be frugal and as well as to maintain a bit of luxurious life style from time to time. Hopefully we could all be worries-free someday!

I'm sorry you're feeling stressed about your finances. Know that you are not alone, I think everyone worries about their financial situation and spending. I've been out of work for 5 months now and feel like I could write the book on being broke, lol. It can be very fustrating sometimes and depressing. I think the key to it all is to use that negative energy to motivate yourself to find the answer that will not only improve your situation but make it far more tolerable. For me it recently caused me to take another look at my financial needs and goals (and even to write an article about it!) and use that to determaine the amount of work I need to do as far as a home based business and the effort that I need to put into mirroring what those who have had success do. Try and cheer up, everything happens for a reason and perhaps you'll find something amazing that pays well and you can enjoy during that career break. Good Luck!

Thanks and I am thinking like you do now! It's like turning something negative into something positive. I haven't really seen any success so far but I would say I am learning something new each day by investigating into ideas and brain storming. Hopefully I could at least get some income during my career break! Oh and I think I would be out of the market for at least 5 months too! *laughs* I can't stand my boss no more and I still believe I am doing the right thing to quit. I wish you good luck on your earnings too! Cheers.

oh hunny I so know how you mean. we are doing okay but I feel broke all the time. I am use to working ALL the time for a pay check and now I am a stay at home mom, I would not give it up for the world but I want my cake and to eat it too. It is so bad of me, but yes if I could still make money as well as still be home for my kids then it would be even better. I have started ins ome programs but I have to expand to more to makek a little extra each month

Right! That's a big difference ha? From working full-time to being at home taking care of kids! I think that's a really noble thing to do! I am glad that your kids are taken care of by their loving mom instead of like being around here - they are taken care by MAIDS! I wish you good luck on your programs and making money! Wish us all good luck on not having to feel broke all the time *laughs*.

last week, friday, my bank called and told me i do not have enough funds in my current account and there were several check that came in that i issued to my suppliers, 7 of them.i urgently decided that i want to stop my current business because it is giving me a lot of headache trying to make ends meet, thinking where to get money to pay for my suppliers since it wasn't always enough and balancing my personal expenses etc.i told the bank to return the checks and close my account.it gave me a bit of peace of mind because now, i won't be always on my toes once the end of the month comes when the suppliers are depositing my checks. i just have to meet with them to settle some back accounts and schedule my payments. i am broke right now but my spirit isn't. i ahve now a piece of my mind all to my own having a peace of mind. now, i can focus and concentrate on my affiliate marketing, eventhough it is not earning yet but i know it will and it is far better work than what i was doing.yes, now i am a micer but i like it because it's keeping my feet on the ground and reminding me of what matters most to me, living a life of freedom and not just living to survive.time will come where i will have an exit ground and be finaciallu free.

Sorry to hear about your business! But good that your spirit is not down and you have a peace of mind now! I am sure it's just temporary and when you focus on your stuff and get established, the money will come afterwards! I think this kind of broke situation makes me think really hard on what to do and how to live in life. I am having more ideas and I wish to implement them and see if they work! I wish you all the best in making money online! I am sure you will succeed!

That's bad. I'm sad for you. Someone told me before that I should let my salary be the basis for my expenditures. That I have to adjust my lifestyle with the salary that I am receiving. This is very right. I felt financially tight some years ago. I decided to move to another town with a cheaper lifestyle and shifted jobs that help me financially. This is not easy though but just do some checking of your lifestyle and your finances. If your finances isn't enough then try applying in other companies that will give you a bigger pay. If not, lessen your lifestyle expenditures. This could be very tiring but you have to make choices. This will not be a permanent set up though. You'll get over this soon. Good luck!

I dont know for what reason you are being tensed. If it's just money... then be happy. There is nothing to worry about the money. We should live for the present, but not for the future or past. Today is everything. So, enjoy today, don't think for future. Do this... U will be happy.. Nobodoy has seen tomorrow... Enjoy your life every moment.......

I am enjoying my life but just these days I feel broke (yes, because of money). I sort of need to play for the few months ahead and I guess that's why I feel the pressure. Thanks for your response!
