I love to eat. I love food. Yet i am just not in love with cooking. So i try and cook every other nite. I am all for leftovers. During the summer i just am so not in the mood to get in the kitchen and make dinner. I don't cook on Friday and Saturday, but i do make a big dinner on Sundays. So do you cook on the weekends or is that your time to take off from the cooking and how the pizza guy do all the work?

Hi,
My fiance and I both cook, so its not always all on me..
sometimes he might even cook more then I do..
we don't have any certain days but when I was growing up my mom would invite my grandparents over for sunday dinner, she would make a roast or steak or something and always just a nice dinner. so now that I am an adult I like to prepare sunday dinners as well..
My favorite time to cook is on holidays. I loved watching my mom and grandma in the kitchen when I was little and now that I am older I get to be the one in the kitchen making all the things they would make.
I just hate the clean up part! :P

I cook on the weekends too. Sometimes we will get something out but most of the time I cook. It has been so hot here lately that I haven't felt like cooking either. The other day I put a roast in the crock pot and went out for a few hours and when I got home I was so glad that I didn't have to cook anything because I was so hot. All I had to do was get the roast, potatoes and carrots out of the crock pot so that was nice.

When I am back in my hometown, I only cook once a week. Now, in US, I cook everyday unless we are on vacation.
My family prefer homecook food. So, even I am not really in the mood that particular day, I will try to motivate myself to cook.
I like to cook especially experiment new recipes. Poor them ... have to be my guinea pig.

I love to cook. I cook almost every night, we try to eat left overs once a week or so, just depends on what we have. When we got married I told my husband I wasn't cooking on Sundays. We either go out for lunch that day or have left overs. Sunday night is usually make your own, or we might have popcorn and ice cream.

sundays is the only day that i don't mind cooking. i think because growing up it was always the day that my grandfather who was the cook of the house cooked a big dinner and the whole family would come over and have dinner as one big family. i loved those days

I enjoy cooking but not every night. I'm totally for leftovers. I often try to make a large amount to specifically have leftovers for another night. We occasionally go out to dinner on a Friday or Saturday or I'll make something easy. Most Sundays we all go to my mom's for a great big lunch (saving me from having to cook). :)

I am cooking every day lol, tell me a day when I am not cooking. Mind you when I go to the U.S and I am there with my hubby ..he usually treats me to a meal outside on Saturdays which gives me a nice little break from the routine. But I am like you, I must admnit..I love cooking and when I have more money to spare and I can buy more ingredients it all tastes so much better!

On Saturdays we usually go out to eat or order in and my husband cooks sunday lunch, roast chicken with whatever we have in the fridge. I cook during the week and by the weekend I am all cooked out and prefer my husband to do it or its time to takeout.

Hi, well you seem to hate cooking and make do with left overs and maybei think you are eiher living alone, as if you have a fmaily then the kids and husbands demands for different kinds of food, keeps one on our toes allthe time. But yes weekends are off for me as those days i make light food andp refer to play it cool, or let my spouse cook or thekids take over, so that i can have complete break that day, and enjoy my part of the weekend too. No i get no break during the weekday, nor do we indulge much in left overs, just a day old is alright, but not more than that, and other wise too, its not too healthy to eat food kept for that long a time i think. My views, but maybe you are comfortable with it, so each one to their own.

I love to cook everyday!!! I love to see my family ate all the food to its last drop. I feel challenge sometimes if they demand new menus that they had tasted from the other places. I feel like to compete the best restaurants foods' LOL.

My hubby is my inspiration for being a good chef. I learned to cook because of him. LOL When I was still single, I didn't use to cook, but now that I know how to make different dishes, cooking is going to be one of my passions.
I learned cooking as an art too. You can be creative as you can!!

i am very fortunate because my hubby does almost all of the cooking at my house. i do other stuff like laundry etc, but he does the cooking. i am like you, i dont like to cook and he does, so i gladly let him! lol
we tend to have a big meal on sat night which he makes...sundays are just to busy for us w/ church etc. to have a big one that day.

Yeah, I cook on the weekends only due to my geographical location. Living in a rural community in the mountains I am pretty far away from restaurants. But intend to start letting them do all the work!
