My daughter asked me: "Why do men have nipples?"Kind of funny, but then I realisd and thought: she had a point. In women, they are used for suckiling, that is the primary design.
But why do men have nipples?

When developing as a fetus both males and females have the exact same blueprint and many common features such as regular anatomy as well as template material inside the body like wolffian and mullerian ducts. With all this includes nipples. During the 12-13th week of gestation however, the chromosomes develop and equip certain glands to trigger the proper hormones later on in puberty. There have been rare cases where exposure to estrogen can cause male "boobs". Additionally, the nipples and chest area also serve as fat tissue storage for both genders.

Well, I guess this is a better response. It's just dawned on me that I have heard of this "template" explanation, the cnromosomes, and all. Thanks, mate.

Very well Gamer! I have a book by a Dr titled "Why do Men Have Nipples" it says just that.
This book also has many other answers to questions that people may feel awkward in asking a Dr. It was very funny and interesting to read.

No, I have never heard of it nor read it. I'd sure love to have a copy for my kids. I will look for it. Thanks.

Of course there must be a reason. Every part of human being or any other creature is there for a reason!
For instance, the tongue is there for taste, sound, salavating, etc.
