Does anyone here have any tips on dealing with restless legs during pregnancy?
I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and lucky to get two hours a day because of my legs. My OB says there is nothing I can take or do - and I am the point where I am about to demand they take the baby now before I completely lose my mind.
I have tried everything I can find online to help - and nothing works.
Help please.

I can sympathize. I am 35 1/2 weeks and about to go crazy. I keep thinking I must have restless leg syndrome. The back of my calves ache. I feel like I have to keep moving them and do something. Sometimes if I elevate my legs and move them around some it helps a little but not much. And to make matters worse I am on bedrest so there is only so much I can move. I am so sick of it. I too am ready to get this over with. Good luck with your pregnancy. I hope you get some relief soon.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I use to get really bad leg cramps. I genreally woke up at least once a night with a horrific charlie horse. It's not easy to jump out of bed and rubbed down your calf when you have a huge belly!
If I remember correctly I was told the potassium in bananas would help, along with a lot of water. I'm not sure if it helps for restless legs though. I still have those. sigh.

poor thing I can't stand when I have restless legs. Your 37 weeks now so your considered full term. I would say try walking during the day it will help the baby move down and help your legs at night. Hang in there your almost to the end. Congratulations
