I dont know if this has been suggested yet or not, but being a ChaCha search guide is a legitimate way to earn a little cash online. I did it and made a couple hundred dollars within a month or so. If they ask for money, it's a scam. Simple as that. I have fallen for it and will never do so again.

What type of work are you looking to do exactly? If any site asks you for a fee, don't bother unless you are looking to start your own business. Here requires no fee and also you can look at writing sites like Associated Content or something to that effect.
