Prayer Request For My Dad

My dad has lived with emphysema for over 20 years. He went into the hospital on August 3rd. On August 6th he was supposed to have a heart cathe and due to anxiety reason, they were not able to do it this day. They put him on a ventilator and did the heart cathe on August 7th. The heart cathe showed that he has blockage and not a candidate for surgery. Test shows that he has cocci pneumonia. They have been trying to wean him off the ventilator and have been unsuccessful in doing so. Today they will be putting a trach type ventilator on him. My mom asked him this morning if he wants us to keep fighting for him, and he said yes. He isn't ready to give up the fight. I've been wanting to post this prayer request, but haven't found much time to do so between work and being at the hospital. So now, I ask that you pray God's will be done, to give him peace and strength and healing to his body. Peace and strength for my family, as we prepare for whatever God has in store. Thank you in advance for your prayers.
