im using blogger right now and i started out knowing absolutely nothing about the blog world and how things work, it can be overwhelming at the beginning when u start hearing about html codes and CSS and RSS and blog feeds and blog widgets and all that crazy stuff
the best way to learn about blogging is to read a lot about different subjects and start with the how to...
some resources that were gold for me learning about costumising and blogging

I don't think this is a good idea, because, everyone else is getting the credit not you. you should'nt have best rssponse listed on this page, you need your discussions on this page, don't you think?

well i think it is best to experiment with blogs cause once you have started experiment with it you will learn quickly.

I first started out with a blog on blogger.com but quickly moved over to wordpress.com cause it's so much easier and there was no need to know any html etc.
Now I have my own domain and hosting and still use wordpress.
I guess the best way to learn is by trial and error, though thankfully (specially with a wordpress blog) if you make a mistake it's pretty easy to fix.

I use Blogger and it's really easy. They also have quiet a few templates to work with. I think you will find this site easy to use also.

Thank you everyone for all the information. I will take a look at all of them and read about everything then construct my blog. Thanks to you guys I can now make one that will look more professional and hopefully earn some money from it also. Thank you for sharing with me.

Everything I learned about blogging, I learned by doing. I tend to be a hands-on learners. So I found a site that allowed me to start a blog (I started with LiveJournal), and I did it. Then I explored a few other options and practiced blogging before settling for my current blogs.
