Have you experienced to give up because of problems?

I think we all experience this feeling when we go through bad times. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to give up because of the things that have happened in my life but if we do give up then that only proves that we are weak. You have to be strong enough to handle whatever life throws at you, no matter how tough it may be. In the end everything will work out.

My faith in God is the only thing that has been able to sustain me throughout the years. Life is full of ups and downs and yes, at times I've wanted to give up too but the thing is that we all have our good and bad days. One day you may feel really lumpy and the other day you can feel good. Life is weird like that. I just started reading this book called "Feeling Good. The New Mood Therapy". It's about beating depression, anxiety and how to recognize your mood swings. It's a psychology book and it took 20 years to write since there was a lot of research involved. It talks about how your thoughts affect the way you feel, whether good or bad. I highly recommend it. :)

i just went through a time that i felt that i could not do anything right all i kept doin was failing. i just did not want to be hear on earth any longer. so that was when i started goin to see my best friend hes a youth councilor for the church in my area and he told me just keep a positive belief and you can do anything you set your mind to. he said just tell god what seems to be the problem and get it off you chest. so i did.

actually i think it has nothing to do with god. there will always be hard times that you'll feel like the end of the world has come. maybe you will insist on something that is not possible to happen, or you will just give up on something which you could have done better. it is just your mind to trust in those circumstances, because it will tell you what to do. i believe the only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do, and what a man can't do. if you are able to see the difference between these two, then you won't feel yourself like giving up.

yes,i completely agree to what you say.many times i felt like giving up but could not do so.maybe the almighty hand was over me.

many times but the funny part about it, even i keep on telling that i give up, i keep on fighting and i keep on moving because God is always there for me...problems are always there, big or small, just learned how to handle it...

You are right not to give up. I have encountered that problem many times in the last few months, but I do as you and pray that I have help to solve the problem. The Lord always helps me pull through.

yes it happens many some time but you should never give up if your belief is that there is always a supreme power THE GOD. because he always helps his people to make an easy way. you should never get disappointed from GOD.

Yes, I have the same feeling, when faced with insurmountable difficulties, feeling helpless \ confused \ perplexed, and sometimes even want to give up, but as long as the renunciation feel more empty, so he went all out of adherence.

I do not like a person to give up lightly, but sometimes, no matter how their efforts are not solve the problem, but only to abandon the circumstances, in fact, life is often the helpless. Maybe it is because the force is too small.

yes a lot of times...i was born with problems and i think that we all are..there was a time that i ask God why does he let me come into the world and be punished?but as I go on with my thouhgts i just think of positive things why He has given me such problems...evertyhing he gives has a purpose...you cannot be happy if you did'nt experience being sad...

You know, i am a Buddhist. I look as this way, without Buddha, there is no evil. Without evil, there is no Buddha. So this mean, no matter what you do; right or wrong; you will face a new problem when you solved the others. So what i do is, in order to keep running away from the problem, i will leave some space for the problem to come to me every time when i do something. Even if the problem not come to me, i will create some problem for myself. This i what i called it Balancing.

Well at least at the last moment you have seek the help of the Almighty and enlighten as well...yeah i agree with you problems occurs in an unexpected moment and at time we cant handle it ..as for me i have one for the past years but thru the moral support of my family and prayer i was atleast relieve and enlighten and still happy..the problem is still there but a little lighter now and we can still manage to handle about it..

I have being down that road to many times. Right now, I am so fustrated about not finding suitable employment. I am leaving it in God hands to work it out.

I try not to give up but there has been times when I have been forced to give up on things because of my health. I guess I did not just give up I was forced to give up by health.

Yes,I have the same feeling,but in my opinion,so long as we want ,we should try our best to do it,even it will be difficult.However,not everything is in our control.
