sleeping well is on top of my list for feeling good during the day. we all need to have some sleep to prepare the fast and exhausting tempo of our daily life. but having a hard time sleeping has become one of the biggest problems of the modern world. the more we are involved in our busniess, the less we are allowed to sleep at night. some of my friends are really lucky about it, they can be up all the day with just 4-5 hours of sleep. how many hours of sleep is enough for you? do you think that it differs from one person to another?

I think to get weel and perfom good during all your day is to have a good sleep and to have a good sleep you should sleep 8 hours a day and if you cannot the there should be minimum 4 hours other wise you are going to harm your health

I usually get about 6-8 hours sleep a night but mostly about 7 hours. I would love to be able to sleep 8 hours straight a night without waking up but that very rarely happens! I know older people who manage quite well on 4-5 hours sleep a night. I don't know what I'd do with so much "awake time" on my hand if I slept that few hours LOL!

I have been told as you age you will not need as much sleep. But I love to have 8-9 hours of sleep. I normally get around 7 hours, but crave 8 hours of sleep.

Hi, yes i think different people have different requirements of sleep, as per their own body requirements, and each one will have different hours too. I also wonder how people manage to survive with just 2-3-4-5 hours of sleep, and remain fresh and last the next day through. I for one need my minimum of 6-8 hours of sleep, anything less than that gives me a low and a headache during the day. So incase i cannot have the sleep in one stretch, i make it a point to rest and sleep for 1-2 hours during the afternoon and am refreshed when i get up. My husband on the contrary sleeps lesser, but catches up with his hours of sleep during the weekend and sleeps non stop for many hours!! So somewhere down the line, each one of us cathes up with our lack of sleep , depending upon how many hours of sleep their body needs

4-5 hours justly nice for me. With the help of the SALT LAMP AND MINI WATER FOUNTAIN enough and fits to centralized oxygen in my brain to reciprocates with the gravity. Fullest with verve energy to participate in the next agenda of continuing my life.

Generally I get sleep for 7-8 hours annd I feel extremely refreshed after it.But,under certain circumstances when the situation really demands it,I can even manage with an hour's sleep(generally happens when I got out for sky-observing which lasts throughout the night).
But,if you ask me 6-8 hours sleep is a must for every human.

I need good 9 hours of sleep. I go to bed at 11pm and getup at 8 most days. On weekend I get another extra hour of sleep since I don't have to getup at 8.

I need at the least seven hours of sleep. without getting a propoer sleep, the whole day will be ruined. I feel lethargic if I dont get a propoer sleep. Well think the number of hours a person sleeps depend on he or she has got themselves accustomed to.
But I think medically it recommended that adequate rest is required for a human body to function normal

i need a 7-8 hours sleep. but 6-7 would be enough for me. if i only get 4 or 5, i'd be groggy the whole day. LOL i have to have enough sleep so i can work properly. otherwise, i'd be grumpy and sleepy. ^__^;;

When you're growing you tend to sleep more just so your body gets a chance of rest. For me, I like to get around 8 hours of sleep each night. I could probably manage with less (like what I do during school when work piles up) but I like sleep too much haha. I have some friends who managed to sleep maybe 3 hours each night all through high school, and I thought they were crazy!
