That is so messed up! To make those kids pay for her messed up marriage is beyond extreme. I just can't imagine someone wanting to to that to their kids, let alone themselves. But depression or constant bad feelings can drive some people to that I guess. It's so sad.

That is terrible, this is why I tell women that they should think about what they are doing before they do it. If she did not want a husband and children, then she should have never committed to it. She just killed her own children because she could not make the right choices.

I am one of the first ones to try to see how the mother was treated, and what form of abuse she went through or any underlying trauma. But this was so premeditated, that there is no psychological crap anyone can tell me that excuses that. She was so selfish that she sacrificed her kids to get even with her husband.

These types of stories are very disturbing. I can't understand what would make a person do this to their own flesh and blood, they were just babies! If she was so unhappy in her marraige, there are other things to do. If she was unhappy being a mother, then don't do this to your children, just let them be and do whatever it is you feel you have to. I hate hearing stories such as this, it just breaks my heart!

Yes, this is tragic. No, there is no excuse for taking the children with her. But stop and think a minute. She is in a country far from family and friends. Does she speak the language fluently enough to be able to make friends here? 8 years of marriage. Husband is moving on in life getting an education while she is "stuck" at home raising the children. Is she being emotionally, physically or sexually abused? Are the children being abused? Was she suffering post-partum depression? It is a very real problem that most men don't want to recognize. It is seen as a weakness
