Drop shipping?

Has anyone had experience with this? How did you find the drop shipper that you use? I am considering trying to use a drop shipper and am just looking for any information or experience people may have.

The problem with drop shipping is finding you nitch. I am a member of several free drop shipping companys, and if you find a product you want to sell, and then look on ebay, you will see hundresds of the same product already there. You need to find a product and a place to sell it where there isn't already a ton of the same item already for sale.

I am using 2 reputable dropshippers, but there is harsh competition on ebay and it is difficult selling. You need to research.

About a year ago I gave drop shipping a whirl. It is very difficult to compete with other larger online retailers and auction sites. The problem being is bulk, If you purchase in bulk then there is a higher probability of getting a better price per item....but that defeats the principle of drop shipping. It is a rough game to get into. My best advice and how I chose to go about it was to get my business license and resale cert. I only dealt with suppliers who required a resale cert, ...that way I had a little more confidence they were legit.
