This is so horrible. What the heck possessed these kids to think that this was okay to do? I can't understand why everything has to lead to violence. This is just so senseless. No excuses..

This is horrible, Unfortunetaly, we read more and more of this in the news all the time. The problem with the kids is not that they are not normal, it is that they can't be disciplined by the parents and authorities the way that they should be. A good switch and a trip behind the woodshed would be a great experience for them and a real eye opener! However, society would consideer that child abuse but what they done to this father is worse than any switch would ever do!

it is very bad and it is sad. the government needs to get a grip and be allowed to discipline these not normal kids to a great extent and they will then see sense. thanks for responding. rated +

Well Sweetie the Youth today is just not bothered anymore they think it is big to do things like that They do not care about other Peoples Life It is so sad but true and the saddest thing about it is that mostly the Parents are at fault because they do not care where the Kids are as long as they are out their way but saying that the Government is to blame just as much for the Law they have enforced on smacking Kids, Parents despair because if they discipline they get reported and what makes it even worse, the Kids know the law is on their side on that one and they will use it to their advantage

I dont think kids now a days get the discipline they need. They think they can do anything they want and mommy and daddy will come to their rescue. I didnt see what property the man was trying to protect. Anyways that is sad. I feel for hi family as well.

These kids are at a age where they think they are invincible. Tonight on the news, they showed a program now developed in Philadelphia where they take at risk teens, bring them to a hospital to see the process of someone dying and bring them down to the morgue. Its shocking, but the results have been that none of these kids have returned to the hospital with injuries or have been arrested for doing it to someone else. I think they never think of the consequences when they are caught up in the moment. It's time someone give our youth new guidence, shocking as it is to stop all this madness!

these kids think they are gangsters which they are not! that is a good idea what they are doing in Philadelphia. i hope they introduce something like this over here in UK and maybe the crime levels will dramatically reduce. thanks for responding jill. rated +

You are absolutely correct in saying that these kids are not normal. It should be said that they have no remorse whatsoever about the life of another as much as they do not care about their own lives. In this respect, there is no doubt that they did not care that they were taking the life of a man who had a family which included a loving wife and children. I know that if anyone harmed any family of mine, I would have to resort to revenge. It is said that we should allow justice to take its course, but lately, the judicial system has been awfully kind to the criminals and even harder on those who are not criminals. What I mean here is that the news reports daily how judges are letting repeat felony offenders off without a slap on the wrist because of some technicality or because there is not enough evidence. Give me a break! This does not mean that I do not believe in the due process, that everyone gets their day in court, but sorry, these kids need to get more than a slap on the wrist. They need to deeply ask for forgiveness in a big way! The chances are they will be tried as adults and serve time, hopefully life in prison with the hardened criminals.

i am glad that you agree dave that they are not normal. they just think about themselves and are not concerned how the family is dealing with the sad loss of this innocent man. i would also give it back if it happened to a family member of mine. the system nowadays is a complete joke and needs something doing! oh too right they will recieve a jail sentence and i hope they get life for this. thanks for responding. rated +

This may be the results of so many violent movies taht teens copy. They don't know how to manage their anger over other people and doing bad things as killing somebody. For Mr. Newlove's family my condolences.

this is one of the most dangerous thing and horrible to happen in man..to die because of his property but the most admirable that man can do is to die because of his friend..i think this man protect his property so that his love one could still take benefits of his wealth in the future.
