I work out 3 to 4 days a week. Setting up a Split for your workout routine is the best way.

This basically depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you are aiming to build resistance, I suggest a routine of at least 4 days a week and more on cardio. If you are planning to build strength, a 3 day routine per week that focuses more on resistance and weight trainings.

Now i'm working 3 times a week, but my best results i've seen it when i was working 4 times a week .

it really depends on the intensity and types of exercise that you do. you may or may not be able to workout at 100% effiency each session, so planning is vital. For soccer players i think pumping your legs entirely and building up your stamina would be wise. Of course upper body strength would put you on an advantage since soccer has become more contact than before.
