Favorite Soundtrack from a Game?

Is there a game you have played that has great music? I think the artists who created the final fantasy games are really good. I have sheet music to a bunch of songs from Final Fantasy VII and IX. THe songs from Zelda are pretty good, and I like most of the mario songs of course.

I like listening to FF8's soundtrack, especially Faye Wong's "Eyes on me." I also loved Duke Nukem's soundtracks, especially the one which was sunged by Stabbing Westward (forgot the title though).
Gran Tourismo and Gran Teft Auto are also showcasing good songs, I really missed listening to most of them. I don't play video games anymore, I'm not that much updated!;)

I couldn't really get into FF8 but the soundtrack was pretty good as far as I got. I like the overworld theme. Yea I loved the oldskool music in san andreas. Thanks for sharing raijin.

hmm.. there are so many to choose from.
I love the soundtrack of most racing games and some of EA sport games too.
Like SSX, all of the titles in that series had awesome music, and need for speed underground has the best albums too.
And another one that I really love the soundtrack of is midnight club 3: dub edition remix.
But that's mainly a mixture of songs from all different kinds of artists.
I also games that have their own soundtrack, their own music, like the eerie music of fatal frame, or silent hill.
Games have the best music.
Recently I found this awesome site, that has the full soundtracks of any site that you can imagine.

My hubby had a game called "Road Rash". It was a motorcycle racing game. It had the best soundtrack of any game I'd ever heard. Lots of songs by Soundgarden, one of my favorite bands of all time, and a couple of other great bands. When he would play that game I told him to crank it up!
Most games I just turn the sound off. I don't have the Final Fantasy games. I might have to check them out! Mario... classic :D Thanks.

Nice. Yea the final fantasy are pretty good if you like long rpgs. But they have good plots and the music is really good which helps a lot. Thanks for the response craftcatcher!

Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Zelda, Final Fantasy IV, Sonic CD. They are some of my favorites.

Never played final fantasy VI or IV, are they better than the soundtrack of VII and IX? Zelda is a good one, don't really remember chrono trigger. THanks for sharing Theprogramer, nice avatar!

I love the final fantasy songs in all of their games, but another cool soundtrack is from Lunar for the Sega CD. Very interesting game and music. I have the soundtrack and the battle music is upbeat. Also Chrono Trigger for the SNES has wonderful music. The only problem I have is concerning the battle music on FF2 for SNES makes me fall asleep and then my characters end up dying. LOL

my favorites ost on games is castelvania the gothic tunes is freaking awesome
principally ion the curse of darkness on ps2 and stn of ps1 r my fav
other things like to music related to game is heavy emtal versiosn of megadriver band have a lot of tunes from 16 bits classics :)
