Do you collect Harry Potter stuffs like: DVD or CD, toys, books etc? If you do how many of them?
I collected a CD of Harry Potter 1-6. I am looking forward to having a dvd of all Harry Potter MOvies.
I also wanted to buy books but its too expensive here.
Can your share the collection of Harry Potter you have?

I'm not all that into the commercial cheesy marketing stuff that has spawned out of the HP series, but I do own all the books and the movies that have been released so far and absolutely love them! The books I keep in excellent condition (despite the fact they've been read over 10 times each) and plan to pass them on to my kids.

It is true, in today's market, there are a lot of cheesy commercialized stuffs as what you termed them.
Collecting books is great and passing them in to your kids would be of great significance. Books to me are good treasure, they not only impart experiences but also knowledge and values too.
I just don't know if your kids can still appreciate the collection of movies you have. LOL. With technology that is fast progressing, ten years from now it might be possible that the new generation might not be able to appreciate what movies we have today.

I have to admit that I'm a Harry Potter addict. I have all the books and all the DVD's so far. I have most of the books on audio cd also. It's such a wonderful story and although I understand that it had to end sometime, I wish she had continued through another set of stories. It would have been great to have stories through the rest of his teen years and thru his young adult life, getting married and having kids. Then the story could have continued with his kids and their friends. I guess I'll have to make up my own stories. :D

unfortunately I'm not a harry potter fan.i must confess that I"ve never watched an entire movie, or watched an entire book. so i found the recent hoo ha on the launch of the last book quite amusing. there were kids who were so happy to get their hands on it they were crynig tears of joy at the bookstore!amazing. i have totaly missed this fad i suppose so i don't have any HP collectibles either. :P

I own all the books except #7 ( I am waiting for it to come out in paper back) and I own all the movies that are available, I plan to buy them all as they come out. I would love to buy the figurines and other stuff, but I don't have room for any more collections.

My whole family likes Harry Potter. My daugher has all seven books. We also have the hallmark ornaments of the Harry Potter movies. I also have the four movies on dvd that are out. I look forward to having all seven of the movies on dvd when they are completed. The last book however, is so full of action and there is tons of stuff going on that I do not know how they are going to make a short movie out of it. It may be in their best interest to make two movies out of the last book so that they can cover all the important parts. I understand making a movie from a book is very hard. The movie has a time limit and everything can not make it into the movie. My daughter has a couple of posters of Harry Potter. I would like to get her the wand but have not found it at a reasonable price yet.

I have Harry Potter books 1 - 7 and Harry Potter movies 1 - 4. I will get movies 5 -7 soon as they are released in DVD's too. I'm not too into the toys or anything like that so I don't have much else. I think the christmas ornaments are cute but far too expensive, it'd be neat to have a "harry potter" christmas tree.
