I am happy to learn that AVG is on the top 10 list of the best anti virus programs. I have just shifted to AVG after trying eset nod32. What annoys me of nod32 is the monthly re-installation of this program because I was just using the 30-day trial version. Someone recommended me to use the free version of AVG because you don't need to re-install it every 30 days besides it has been very effective in destroying virus threats that have attacked my PC recently like thew trojan horses.
I want to use the kaspersky but there isn't any available free downloads yet. I am waiting for that time that they would offer free trial versions.

Well, I've used AVG's free version for over a year now, and I've never had any problems. Have used Norton in the past, it truly eats up system resources and slows down your system. McAfee is just crap, a friend of mine had the subscription service, their "top of the line", and over 3 months was infected by 3 viruses and 2 worms that it never noticed. A few people have told me that NOD is great, but I have not tried it yet.
