can't start my computer

one day i was using my computer, then it shut down by itself all of a sudden. when i tried to turn it on again it started for about 1 second and turned off again. what do you think is the problem?

shaeen ..me only ..use .opera ... i hate internet exlporer.. for the past 7 to 8 years .. iam using .. opera ... its superb man ... its faster,much reilable...one more important thing .. it does not hangs your entire system.. its just shutdown the browser only...
