online friends....if one of friends dies....will we able to know?

Online friends are people we may never meet.... We see pictures, we see
cams...It isn't the same.... We grow close...We care and love one
another.... One day we may not hear from one another.... Our hearts

break... All we see is a name on messenger but the person we don't see
anymore..... We pray....."Please come back".... All I ask is you
remember
me in the good times we had..... Keep me close to your heart....Friends friends

Hi shaeen,
I've had quite a few online friends, some I've travelled across the world to meet, others I just know from chat. I share your concern, how would we know if suddenly they disappeared. I have told my son the computer nerd that when if I die he must let all the friends on my online address book know.
I reckon some of my online friends mean more to me than my 'real' friends.

hi there shaeen..
i'm not much into online friendships except with people whom i've actually met in person. lately though, because of imeem, myLot and friendster, i've been meeting new people and somehow came to appreciate the 'virtual' community.
for me, personally, once a friend, always a friend, no matter what happens. like when my bestfriend hooked up with my ex-, well, although she isn't my bestfriend anymore, i still pray for her. even if the time comes when we don't get to hear from the people we've met online, i think what's important is that somehow we were able to make even a little positive difference in their lives just by being there.

well, thanks shaeen. i hope that's what the Lord thinks of my heart, too because as i am not perfect, i have a tendency to have a selfish heart sometimes.

it sad to know tht we cant even no ... if our friend exits or not .. we still think tht he will come online oneday ... very heart touching topic my dear friend...

hello shaeen.
You have started a very sad and touching discussion. Yes this is a real question,how will you know what happened to your dear friend with whom you shared your view and had some good moments. If he stops coming on net, we may get angry and think he betrayed us, but who knows what happend to him or her, who knows what problems they are facing....yes I think we should only thing good about all friends, whether they keep in touch or they don't........very nice discussion which can bring tears to eyes........God bless u.
