this picture people? Do you hang all your clothes that need to hung up everytime you wash? There was a time when that actually happened around here..So long ago I seriously can't remember when. I don't know when I lost control, I don't even know why we don't use them.I only have like 3 or 4 outfits. My hubby has a few more than that, and my son, well that is a discussion in itself....LOL.....So everyone, do you make sure you hang everthing up so it is nice and tidy? Be honest now...lol

When I can actually manage to get myself motivated enough to take the clothes out of the laundry baskets and the dryer, I do like to hang them up where they belong. But it's getting that initial "oomph" to do it that's the problem. So needless to say, the laundry baskets are full of clean clothes and so is the dryer still. LOL

Sounds like my side of the pod. We are so much alike it is scary...LOL..I don't even mate the socks, they go in a laundry basket and if you want a pair you find the matching one on your own. Gotta love those laundry baskets...I don't have anything that needs to be ironed anyway so Krinkles aren't a problem.

If we have something that needs the wrinkles taken out, we just throw it in the dryer with a damp cloth for about 15 minutes. It works pretty darned good!

No way..that is too much work for you..The childrens clothes do not have to be hung. They go through them to fast to be spending all your time doing that..Your children are extremely beautiful and their curly hair is too die for....You just have oodles of fun with the little ones and the heck with the laundry....LOL

We are going to be the best of buudies. I don't know what I would do without my chair and laundry baskets, and shelves. I don't even put my underwear in a drawer, I put them on top of the dresser. I have more important things to be doing folks..like talking to you guys...LOL..Besides my clothes do not complain..

No I don't hang everything up like I am suppose to LOL If The only things I do hang up are our shirts and pants and a few jackets and the rest is just folded and left on the shelves until we use them again (which is hardly ever). LOL

We have so much in common, right down to not hanging up our clothes...I love it..I have that stuff on the shelves that we never use again either.. Why do we even put it on the shelf to begin with?

Yes, I do, but only in my dreams. lol Heavens no, I'm lucky to take them out of the laundry basket anymore, befor I actually start to wear them. The only clothes that I have hanging, have been hanging for 5-20 years, and at least 2 or 3 sizes smaller. This is so depressing. I need weightwatchers, Dr. Phil, and most of all, a maid.

I'm not great at keeping on top of things in other parts of the house, but I'm very serious about laundry :). I hate it when my well-meaning, five year old goes around to everyone's room, collects up the laundry and dumps it on top of a pile of clean clothes that have just come out of the dryer, so that they get all mixed up. I also hate having to rewash or iron anything that's become wrinkled from sitting around too long. I also hate how my husband will dump mud-caked, gardening clothes in with delicate sweaters or dress shirts. Thus I guard the washing machine like a hawk, and make sure everything is hung up, or put away in drawers within seconds after the dryer finishes its cycle.

hey... you can give me all those hangers you're not using! LOL I have a lot of clothes which I prefer to be hanged after washing and when placing them in my closet. I'm always in need of hangers coz I buy clothes almost every month which I prefer to hang than to fold. ^__^ its easier to choose clothes that way and it doesn't easily get crumpled and all. ^__^

Okay! It is easier to choose clothes if they are hanging up instead of being all crumpled.

It's the same around here, I've got so many hangers and very few that are actually being used. I used to use them all the time but lately for some reason I've quit hanging clothes up. I think most of the reason is it's been just too darn hot. Our washer/dryer is out on the back porch, plus we live in a very old house and it has no closets except for the one that was built on the porch when the porch was added on. It's just been so miserably hot out there that I don't feel like working up a sweat just to hang stuff.

I can understand the hot weather. I wear as little as I can get away with and try to do my laundry at night. I don't have that much closet space either..

We only hang clothes that need to be hanged after they are ironed. Prior to washing, we just dump everything into the washing basket. We do hang some clothes on hangers to dry. These are the ones which do not need ironing. They are either folded or hang in the closet.

yes i do hang up my clothes! :) i have so many hangers. and I'm not sure whether some shops in the US give you the hangers when you buy the clothes, but in singapore they definitely don't. not even if you ask, very very nicely. go buy your own hangers is the message here. So that's what I've been doing since i moved to my new place. and everytime i buy more clothes I have to buy more hangers. and everytime i do the laundry, I have to round up all the loose hangers so i can hang them up to try on my bamboo poles, not the clotheslines since I have no backyard. :)

Sometimes they give you the hangers but usually they are not the kind I like. I bought mine when they were 10 for 88 cents.

The clothes that should be hung up like shirts, pants and jeans, etc., I hang up right after I take them out of the dryer. In fact since I don't throw out things much, I'm a packrat, I have a shortage of hangers all the time. I recently bought a couple of new pair of jeans and will have to bite the bullet and throw out the ones that I bought them to replace or do some double hanging of the old jeans.

How funny Stealthy, I do use some of them like for my nursing uniforms but as far as regular clothes I just lay them on a chair in my room.

Pass some of those puppies over here. I never have enough hangers for my clothes. I usually have two or three items hanging on one hanger. Not that it is super tidy but at least it isn't on the floor. My kids don't really hang things up but I do.
