Here is another pic of a huge animal. This is a Huge Catfish. This is why I dont go in the water..scary things in there..LOL!!! How the heck did they reel him in?? Heres the link: www.jaysspace.com/ animals.htm

Looks like a hoax. Catfish don't get that large in the states. Usually catfish/bass get big but they can be handled by a single adult male.
Oh and if things like big fish really discourage you from swimming, there is always the pool Copper. No fish there (yet ;p).

The blue catfish can get to be about 6 foot long and weigh in at about 150 pounds. But they do not go after people to eat. And there are catfish in south America that can get to be over 7 foot long. The catfish in the picture is related to a catfish in Asia that has been know to grow to over 12 foot long and reports of it growing to 20 foot long. They are very rare in the wild because of overfishing and habitat destruction.

That catfish is an Asian catfish that can get to be over 12 foot long. These man claim to have caught it in the United States so the picture is bogus. Yes there are catfish in the United States that can grow to the size that as large as the catfish in the picture but they are not people eaters. The only thing that you need to be aware of is if you get stuck by one of the fins and that could could infection.

Catfish can get big in the US, but no where near like that.

Wow, I didn't think catfish came that big..a teenage mutant ninja catfish..Definitely well fed.
I wonder if they pan fried him.
I don't go in the water much either... but now the chances have decreased.
