I know that it's still 4 months before December, but I'm really excited about Christmas!*hehe* Here in the Philippines, you feel that it's almost Christmas when the "Ber" month starts, which is September. (I know, I know. It's still August. LOL, BUt I'm already looking forward for December) hihihi...
The atmosphere is just sooooo different when it's Christmas. For me, it's the joyous month of the year![Aside of course, for October, which is the month of my birthday. hehe.]:)
Christmas trees.. Christmas gifts.. and of course, Christmas carols!*hehehe* I love lots of Christmas carols: including Jingle Bells, O COme OL Yeah Faithful, Rudolf the RedNose Rendeer... and a lot more!
But what I love the most is Jingle Bells. "O wats payn in restorant and a onewands opin slay, HEY! jingoL bells... jingOL beLLs..."*haha!*
I remembered when I was a kid and I don't know what's the "TRUE" lyrics of the song ('tiL now, I guess. hehe). I just sing and sing and sing, and sometimes, holding a tamborine on my right hand.*hehehe*

I was just thinking about this the other day actually, so you're not the only one lol. I love Christmas. I have so many favorite Christmas songs. I love White Christmas when Bing Crosby sings it. I love almost any Christmas song sang by him. I also like Winter Wonderland, chesnuts Roasting on an open fire, I can't remember the actual name for that for some reason. I also like Let it snow. As for the normal christmas carol songs I like Noel, and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer lol.

There is definitly a translation issue here:
THIS: O wats payn in restorant and a onewands opin slay
Should be THIS: "Ob what fun it is to ride in a one-horse, open sleigh"
My favorite xmas song? I don't know... maybe "Holly Jolly Christmas" or the Peanuts gang singing "Christmas Time is Here" I'm not much of a fan of Christmas. it's WAY TOO commercialized in the states, and it's more about presents than it is the true spiritual meaning of the holiday. Which really saddens and sickens me

my most favorite christmas song would be "Happy Christmas,War is over"..I hope I got it right..wouldn't it be too nice to wake up one christmas day and learned that all war is over?
Another favorite is of course "Silent Night"-it simply describes the birth of Jesus,the reason of it all.

We have the longest celebration of christmas in the whole world we start decorating and singing christmas carols when the month ends with ber of even in august some do start decorating. My favorite Christmas song is silent night.

well i would have to say silent night,because ever since my first son was born the only song that would put him to sleep,and to this day i still have to sing it.its pretty funny sometimes because we will be out some where to eat and i would sing this song and they look at me like i'm crazy lol,so i tell them why i have to sing it and they say oh how cute.its just one of those soothing songs,i think if someone rocked me and sang it i would fall asleep too lol.take care.

My favorite christmas song is Little Drummer Boy and this one with the shepherd boy telling the king what he knows. I think they are cool songs.

I am happy to see you so excited for the coming Christmas. I am not a Christian, but I can see Christian people celebrating Christmas in a very joyous way. You celebrate it with lots of gifts, and the best part is to see all of you eating the Turkey for Christmas Eve. Such a wonderful family gathering and great food to enjoy.
Here in my country there are many Christian people too. Christmas songs are played everywhere and when I was small I learned to play the organ as well as a bit of piano. The song used to teach us little kids are basically simple songs including Christmas songs. So I can say I know several Christmas songs which have come into my favorites until today.
Well... from all the Christmas songs, I would say I am fond of "Jingle Bells" the most. Lol. This song is easy to play on the keyboard, and it is entertaining as well. It is suitable to be sung with all our family members. Even little kids can hum along.

My favorite Christmas song is "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)", I never get tired of hearing this song. I also like Ashanti's version of Silent Night (was it Ashanti's? Correct me if I'm wrong =D ) Advance Merry Christmas to you too! Cheers!

Hi sr0415! I guess all Christmas carols are my favorites especially the one that carry happy tunes. I also love the christmas songs done by our local artists like Gary Valenciano. I guess, Christmas for us is just around the corner. Hoho..Take care and have a nice day!
