Today August 24th is My Birthday!

Today I will be celebrating my birthday! I won't tell you how old I am, though. Hint, you can visit my profile if you are really interested how old I am!
I don't have too much planned for the day. I will be taking my oldest daughter to the doctor here shortly. She will be having my first grandchild which is due September 14th. Though I know she wishes for it to be sooner, than later.
It also marks a week since my father left this earth and went to a joyous place in Heaven.
I have been off work since last Friday, and had already planned to be off work today through Monday, prior to my dad's passing. I will be going camping tomorrow and Sunday. Not roughing it type camping. Camper camping, just a place to get a way for a few days.

Hi there. Well Happy Birthday to you pal... I hope you have a great day and really enjoy yourself... As for me Im not too fussed on celebrating my own birthdays, I usually treat them like just another special day in my life... Thanks for sharing and have a good one...

Thank you very much. Usually my birthday is just an ordinary day to me. But since I have had a rough couple of weeks, just wanted to take time out for my self this day.

I hope your day is a good one. You have something really cool to look forward to. I can't imagine having a child, let alone a grandchild. That's extra awesome. You'll be the hippest grandma/nana/gran in the neighborhood. : )
For my birthday, I usually spend it with family. There really is no where else I'd rather be.

Happy Birthday again, a little late. I responded to Marcie's post. She really is a sweet person. I like to go to the casino for my birthday. Congrats on becoming a grandma, it the best. I am also so very sorry about your dads passing. I wish you a wonderful, peace filled, fun filled, relaxing birthday weekend.

My born day is in October and like yourself this is going to be my 1st birthday without my mom(I lost my mom a month ago on the 25th.)and I do send out my blessing to you and your family for your loss.
but anyway back to the matter I usually just celebrate it with my hubby, kids, and younger sister. I might go out to eat with the family but other then that I'm spending it home trying to relax something I don't get a chance to do alot(LOL)

Thank you for the Happy Birthday! Sending comfort your way in the loss of your mom. I know I would be devestated at the loss of my mom since she is one of my best friends. Don't get me wrong, I am lost without my dad, but much closer to my mom.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! another year added is no big deal just enjoy life to the fullest. and thank the person up there for the life he had given you.
i always celebrate my birthday with my family and close friends, for they are the one's that know me best. it's usually and intimate get together.

Happy Birthday!
Mine is Monday, August 27th. I usually have dinner with Mom on the day of my b-day. This Saturday, my cousin is throwing a party for me and 3 other friends that have b-days in August.
Regardless, I am thankful I have lived another year, tough one or not. There is only one alternative to not getting older and I could do without that one for a long while!

Happy birthday! It is nice to see someone so happy about her birthday. Usually people get angry because they are getting older and they just forget that there isn't another good choice to that.
I am having my birthday next week and I am going to eat pizza with my friends.

I don't celebrate my Birthday very often - I usually remember my Birthday about 2 days after my Birthday, once a friend calls up to ask, "Hey what did you do for your Birthday?"

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I'm sorry for your dad's passing. My mom passed away a week AFTER my birthday 22 years ago July, so unfortunately those thoughts come on my birthday every year. Don't really do special stuff anymore on my b-day. I think as I've gotten older, doesn't seem as important. On a better note, congratulations! on your first grandchild. Sept. 14 is not very far away. My son got married a few months ago and I'm just anxiously anticipating the day when they give me grandbaby news. They just keep saying "not for a few years" but I can still hope, right? Hope your day was awesome and have fun on your camping trip!:)
