I Love My Cat!

I went out this afternoon, intending to return within about 2 hours. I met friends for coffee who invited me to their place for a visit and a TV movie, so I accepted. It's been a long time since I have enjoyed a movie in the company of other people! I was just mentioning this during a commercial at my friends' place, "Wow, this is fun - I haven't seen a show with OTHER people around for a long time - usually it's just me and my cat - OMIGOSH - MY CAT!!!" Part of the reason I went out to meet friend for coffee, originally, was because I also needed to go by the nearby store for CAT FOOD! Grrrr@me! I love my cat! He still came to the door and greeted me, still stretched up his ittybitty paws up and said 'Uppy' to me and his purr was motor-speed within 5 seconds when I picked him up. (I didn't leave him completely WITHOUT food in the bowl, by the way). I sat down with my cuddly li'l guy, sat my grocery bag down beside 'our' chair... And then li'l Mr. PHONYFUR... JUMPED INTO THE BAG AFTER THE CAT FOOD that I was so long in bringing back home, HAHA!! Gosh, I love my cat!
