Can a man and woman be just friends?

many females and males become friends and very close at times. But from many I've seen they end up being lovers, So can men really be just friends to women?

i think they can be very close friends.because i ,a man,have almost 6 female friends regarded as the best friends by me.we talk about almost everything and ithink our relationship is more like the fellings between brother and sister.we never think we will be lovers,never.

well, yes, they can. I have a lot of male friends and none of them ended up becoming more than friends. they are also faithful friends that would come to help in the name of friendship. so it is possible to be just friends.

I can tell you from experience that I have male friends that I've never dated for one reasons or another. I don't think that I am ever going to date them either. We are better off as friends. So, yes it is possible.
