Are you kidding? I loved Matrix the original but the other 2 sucked big time. I think the 4ked up the Matrix by adding those two parts. I think they got greedy and ambitious thinking they could actually please hungry fans and all they did was fail.
They could have done better but as they started to stink with each part coming out I don't know if I could have lived through a part 4.

Yes the original is a classic. I can watch that over and over again.
Did you know that they swore they wouldn't make a sequel? Did you know that Reloaded and Revolutions was supposed to be ONE (1) movie? I guess they got greedy, made one big movie, decided that it was too long and they could make more money if they released it as 2 parts. And I also guess those were commercial hits but critically they sucked.
They should have just left the original alone.

The Matrix lost its touch and spirit after the first one. The way it ended didn't live up to my expectations... and humanity is still in a hell-hole/in the Matrix!

Maybe it's because if the extend it anymore, the story would become too superficial and there is always the danger of sequels not working (think Rambo). I think Matrix trilogy was good. Better than many shows with multiple sequels. The concept and storyline is interesting and quite mind boggling. One of my all time favourites plus they do have really cool moves and style.

I mean not that yaaaaar...alright then let me tell you the movie Rocky series ...Every part was simply incredible and it lifts the spirits of motivation...But think about Matrix...Don't you think that they took movie so boring i mean Revolutions...Is there any logic and story in that Part, Except the fight with Osaries...And Reloaded is also a little boring but the first part was incredible ...I am right???
But Rocky is a Superb movie of all time....you better see every part of it :)

If you ask me, they should have stopped after the first movie. It had a nice, self-contained plot, and didn't require any sequels to extend the story. In fact, the sequels really didn't make sense--if Neo was "the one" who could beat the machines, and at the end of the first movie, he was well on his way to doing so, then the story was over. Unfortunately, Hollywood loves trilogies, and the money that comes from them, so they kept the story going.

There is always Animatrix. Some of the stuff there was pretty cool.
And as a joke among me and friends, there is a Matrix 4. Its called Constantine! XD
