My motto in life is: Live well, laugh often and love much. Life is too short for us to complain about. We only need to live in a positive way towards things and people.

"Que cera, cera" - What will be, will be. I'm pretty laid-back about most things. As long as you stay in your corner and I stay in mine, do what you do. I don't really care what anyone else does until it starts affecting my family or friends, then I get involved. After all, your right to self-expression stops at the end of the other guy's nose, right?
Blessed Be

mottos are jems of proverbs or sayings that we could use to live by
we may choose not to follow them or choose to obey it, but if followed benefits could be gotten from these sayings and mottos
one of my favorite is this
" no one can stop you from becoming who you really want to be except you"
and of course the all time favorite motto of
"dont quit"
hope to have help you in your discussion

Mine is ADVERSITY CAN DISTRESS US OR BLESS US .
The way we use adversity is strictly our own choice, For in God's Hands adversity can make the heart rejoice - For everything God sends to us, no matter in what form, Is sent with plan and purpose for by the fierceness of a storm The atmosphere is changed and cleared and the earth is washed and clean And the "high winds of adversity" can make restless souls serene - And while it's very difficult for mankind to understand God's intentions and His purpose and the workings of His Hand, If we observe the miracles that happen every day We cannot help but be convinced that in His wondrous way God makes what seemed unbearable and painful and distressing, Easily acceptable when we view it as a blessing.

same here.. my favorite motto is the golden rule. I believe that whatever things i do to others will come back to me three times fold. whether good or bad so i'm always careful with what i do coz i don't think i am that strong enough to face the consequences.
and also, my favorite is from Robert Frost, its "The woods are lovely, dark and deep but i have promises to keep and miles to go before i go to sleep". I love to wander but sometime don't have the opportunity to do so :

Hello, I am not much into living by a motto. But if ever I have one, I think it would be, "Collect and Collect then select!"LoL
I am not much into wise sayings and golden rules, because I still prefer to live my life freely and do whatever I feel like doing. But I am more into doing good things, live and love, share and inspire and also to put God in the center of my life!;)

My motto is one I live by very strongly, "Whatever happens, happens for a reason." I tell myself this everyday. I feel their are no reasons for regrets because just one change in your past would widely effect your future. There are a lot of bad things that happen in this world and you have to seek comfort in knowing that there is a bigger plan for all of us. We may not see the reason for everything, but we need to believe that there was one!

Hi jHoen16! Mine is "(carpe diem)..Seize the day!" I have tried to instill this motto in my life since I was young because I never want to lose opportunities, I believe that opportunities only comes once. Although there will be other opportunities but the one that you have missed or have let go is different from the ones that will come again. Take care and have a nice day!
