Some are saying why has he found him now.I'm glad the man has found Jesus. It doesn't matter when, where and how as long as he has found him.He was wrong for doing what he did.DOg Fighting is wrong and cruelty to animals.I hope he is really sincere and not just saying that.He made some wrong decisions which we all have done. God forgives and without Jesus Christ in your life nothing else matters so IM glad he has found Jesus. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2993103

Yeah I think that statement was at the wrong time it gives people the impression that because of his circumstances he has now found God, yet it takes people going through something so drastic in order to realize that he is real, and if it took him getting convicted well im glad he found him... I just hope he didn't use his name in vain because if he did then he will be punished for that and that's my belief...

no offense, but you are saying that "Jesus" and "God" are around. its called freedom of religion. what if a muslim reads this? or a buddhist. Worst of all, an atheist. but btw, vick should get jailed for dogfighting. its really cruel and inhumane

True what he did was cruel and inhumane, yet alot of what people do is cruel and inhumane but should he be judged on the source of his belief. the context is about what he did not who he serves or what his higher source of being is... I think alot of people are going to go left and use that against him instead of looking at the big picture which is what he did...that's what's wrong with Society today, you know what Freedom of speech is you can say anything you like to people as long as its not offensive... double standard and the 1st amendment should be revised...

It is a good thing to hear that he has found Jesus. I too, was at the lowest point in my life when I cried out to Jesus to save me. Most of us has to be taken by something stronger than we can control or handle before we call on the master. I pray that he continues to go forward in God.

I don't believe the creep has found anything at all, he is a jerk and hiding behind Jesus which he no more believes in today than he did yesterday he is just a loser and trying to use religion to save his own skin. I think he deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars and I don't care if god himself appears before him and asks that he be spared because he doesn't deserve anyones forgiveness at all and I really really really hate people that pretend to find god just to get out of something they should dearly pay for. I hope a pack of wild dogs rips him to shreds! He is a disgusting waste of skin!

I am an Atheist and I take responsibility when I do something I shouldn't have done, I don't hide behind a god or any thing else. He should be judged on the disgusting revolting inhumane things he did and not be forgiven because he pretends to have found god. I am not buying it that he found anything, he is scum and should be treated as such.

sounds like someone other than... is passing judgement, I hope in your days to come you will never be faced with a situation in which you have to call on your source of being and are ridiculed because of curcumstances... the bad part of this is we don't know whats in his heart and we can only assume but we all make mistakes right, forgive and let live he will get his punishment trust

He actually did not hide, he actually pleaded guilty, meaning he admitted wrong and face the consequence of his sin. His admission of guilt surely did not help him, nor his belief in Jesus but that's the fact you have to answer for the mistakes you did! Nonetheless, the Bible speaks of God's forgiveness to those who believe in Him. Hebrews 8:12

Like you I hope he is really being honest because it seems when alot of people are in trouble they call on Jesus to help them get out of a akward situation, we are all witnesses to that I just hope his words where truthful because listening to him say that this morning kind of felt as though he was pouring it on a little thick...what I admired most about his testimony was how he was pinpointing to the children of the world what he did was wrong and that they shouldn't follow into his footsteps because it was very immature I liked that alot, even if the whole thing was staged. it takes a man to admit when he is wrong

People do mistakes. The fact that he discovered Jesus does not prevent him for paying for his past mistakes. However I do believe that people should be given the chance to make up for it.

Not being American, I don't know so much about this case, apart from that this guy is a successful sportsman who found sadistic pleasure in torturing, hurting and killing innocent animals for "fun" - a crime which I find despicable and the lowest of the low. As for finding Jesus - hmmmm well - maybe some Americans are more gullible about religion than those of us in Europe (we are certainly a far more secular society) - but our view here would almost certainly be "Oh my how convenient". I wonder if he would have found this side of him if he hadn't been caught inflicting agony on other living creatures, and threatened with the loss of the nice cosy living that being a top sportsman means? My cynical mind thinks - no - he is scamming. I don't believe him for a moment. It would take a lot more than some kind of phoney religious enlightenment to make me have even the slightest respect for the evil *******. Sorry.

Well, I personally don't care if he now believes in Jesus, in Jehova or in nothing. The most important thing to me is that he did something bad, he is paying for it, and he has learned the lesson. Hopefully he will never do it again, and will disuade others from doing it.
