Do you bake as much as you cook?

I also do not bake that often. I do like baking but I need to be in the mood to do it. I like the bake muffins, cakes and chicken in my oven. Most of the dishes I prepare are however boiled,steamed or stir fried.

I bake as much as I have time for. There was a time back in the day, when I baked all the time. I used to make everything from scratch, but those days are almost gone now. It used to be fun.

no I am definately more of the cooking type...I do however bake a lot come Xmas holidays but other than that I don't do alot of baking..except things like muffins or banana bread but even thats only every couple months..I do seem to do more in the cooler months though....

I definitely cook more often than I bake. Baking is so much more involved--I have to find a recipe and measure everything out exactly...with cooking I can just grab a bunch of stuff out of the fridge and throw it together without having to worry about the precise chemistry of it. That being said, I do enjoy baking when I get around to doing it. Over the weekend I made chocolate cupcakes from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World and they were fabulous! I'm going to try to make some chocolate-ginger scones this week.

Hi there. I think I cook more then what I do when Im baking... Im not a big baker, I need to follow recipes for cakes, but I can cook anything, meal wise/dinner...

Its almost equal since I do like playing baker from time to time. Usually though, yes cooking is in the lead and baking plays second fiddle. Grilling is third .

i enjoy baking. and like you i tend to do it from the box. ive only tried making a few things from scratch..cookies and the mixing without a standmixer was just too hard to do lol! but its summer here and there is NO WAY im gonna bake in this heat, even in the middle of the night it is still hot here and the oven would just cook the kitchen and living room with us in it lol! so im waiting for fall and winter to come back around, then i will bake again.
