I was born on October thats why my birthstone is Opal. I like my birthstone because you can get it in different colors but i like white opal the most, they shine brilliantly, they just have a different glow on it. My hunney just gave me an opal earrings as a present last christmas, and i like it so much because you can really see it because it's not small but not too big. i like its shape and design. Anyway, it is really nice if we have a jewelry with our birthstone. Do you have one? What is your birthstone? :)

I was born inSept.so my stone is Saphfire..It's a really dark blue.I think its a very pretty stone...

I was born in March and my birthstone is aquamarine. It's an ok birthstone. It's blue and that's my favorite color. The opal is a nice birthstone. Very pretty and delicate. I think I have a ring from an ex with my birthstone but I don't know where it is right now.

Hi claire, I was born on october just like you so my birthstone's Opal. I like it for it has Multi colour and it represents hope, purity, health and innocence. :-)

Wow, not many responses to October, we must be the special ones! I am October also, and I love the Opal. I do not wear much jewelry, just mainly earrings. I usually wear gold, diamonds, or opals because that is almost all that I like. Just not a big jewelry fan, and I do not like huge stones, I prefer them small to medium, but seeable.

My birthstone is a garnet. Garnets are okay, but I think that aquamarine, emeralds and sapphires are so much prettier! I don't like red that much, that is why the garnet doesn't appeal to me. I do have a ring with my birthstone in it. The ring was given to me by a very special aunt before she passed, so it has a lot of meaning for me. I do wear it from time to time.

I was born in September so my birthstone is blue and I love it because that is also my favorite color never really read up on the meaning of the birthstones though.

My birthstone is saphire (September 12th) I used to have alot of jewlery but now the only one I have is a saphire necklace that my boyfriend bought for me. It has 4 saphires. I think it is very pretty, I never take it off.

i was born in the month of june and i am a cancerian.so in that way my birth stone is to be pearl.if i have to categorize it then my
modern birthstone :pearl,moonstone.
traditional birthstone :emerald,agate.
i have got lots of jewellery in pearl.but i am not much fond of them.i like emeralds more because of its color and clarity.i have a ring and a pair of ear rings made of emerald.about agate i don't know much about it neither have i seen the stone.

Its Ruby/Ruby Quartz. Kinda pretty if done right on certain crafts and trinkets. Sometimes there are makes of it that are a bit too dark, or someone just doesn't know how to use ruby on the jewelry -_-
