Camping is wonderful. I love car camping, kayak camping, backpacking. They each have their own appeal. Car camping and kayak camping are both great because of all the goodies you can bring with you, like Smores makings. Backpacking is great because you can get farther out and be away from the crowds. Besides, unless you're rich, hotel bathrooms suck. Though I do like watching cable tv (which I don't have at home)

I like the great outdoors, but roughing it is not for me. I prefer hotels and doing stuff outdoors during the day. I need a hot shower in a clean bathroom at night.

Camping is a very good outdoor experience. It gives freedom of speech and boldness to every body. But it
should be good and not disturbing any community and the
local ecosytems and the environment.

It would be really hard to chose between the two since I like both of them equally. I think it would depend on where I'm at, the season of the year, and who was with me.

Camping, all the way. I'm a Scout Master for my son's troop and I love going out and sleeping under the stars. I grew up camping and fishing.

camping is not as relaxing as you'd think. It requires alot of preperation and alot of effort, however, I'll agree once the tent is pitched and the fire is going; it can hardly compare to a hotel.
However, hotels have that crisp, clean feeling. It's easy to relax.
