It is Fathers Day this Sunday 2 Sept. Do you celebrate Fathers Day in your country?
First of all my daughter & I will give hubby his presents. Then we will cook bacon & eggs for breakfast, as this is his favourite, which we will eat in bed. For lunch, we are going to St. Francis restuarant, a winery.
What are you doing for Fathers Day?

I am sure that having a nice meal with your Father, is one of the best ways to celebrate Fathers Day.

I'm thinking of taking my parents out to dinner and maybe spend the day with him. He doesn't do much these days for he's gotten up in age and his health isn't all that good anymore but time is the best thing I can give him besides a tasty dinner. LOL

I think a lot of the elderly appreciate a good homecooked meal more than anything.

Actually here in the United States we celebrate Fathers Day the thrid Sunday in June. So ours has passed. I learn something new each day here ion myLot. I had thought all countries that celebrated Fathers Day did it at the same time. HAHAHA!!! So what I did was offer to take dad to Bingo and pay his way but he was as usual too lazy to walk anywhere. So I bought him a bunch of his word search puzzle books was it. Septemeber 9th here in the States is Grandparents Day though. Hee hee!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I had always assumed that western countries celebrated Fathers Day on the same day. How wrong I was.

I thought Fathers Day was on the same day around the world. Well, in the US we celebrate Father's Day in June. For Fathers Day I had prepared a breakfast for my dad and gave him a card and we had took him and my brother in law out to eat and at restuarant called Fire Mountain Grill. Its an all you can eat buffet. And we had also attened church that morning and gifts were given out to all the fathers who attended church that day.
