Features on Mylot you'd want

How about a catagory for who makes the funniest comments since most of the serious ones are usually boring and misinformed. I would rather have some one make me laugh rather than give some of thier assinine thoughts.

hi progamer,i started a discussion for videos on myLot and also sent them a request for looking at the discussion as told by my friend but till now no response and i think because there were only three people who replied to me in positive its possible that myLot just ignored it..LoL..next time..you see..LOL..well dear i want many things here..one like you said said signatures after every discussion..i mean come'on man they are part of every good forum..aren't they?your polls idea will also be rocking..other things i want here are like- videos.. games..like the ones anybody can participate without paying anything and if anybody could be able to play with their friends here.. a shout box..like for our priorities..i really like them as any live comment or change can be seen on them unless people don't use them for mere fun and even that won't be bad:-) i think myLot needs to improve its personal message looks also as they just look like discussions..when i first saw my Pm i was so confused and i thought everybody can read it..i mean they can make it more attractive than the default style here.. i also want that layout of myLot be made more attractive and happening as it is a happening place and it should look happening too..i find it a bit dull frankly speaking..am not saying to make it flashy to hurt your eyes but just a bit sweet looking.. one more thing they should also try to include more features for our discussions like the interests categories should appear differently ..i mean what we see here usually on top discussions page is discussions from all of the interests..i think it would be better if they display discussions on top according to various interests categories because in this way many of the discussions which don't get exposure will get recognition and also it would look more organized also as it would be easy to pick the top discussions from our interests pages and al categories would be having equal traffic like now we see mainly 'people','myLot' 'life','relationships' etc categories where people post mainly so does the responders.. and one more thing they should increase earnings..LOL..

Spell check or the edit button-I make too many mistakes and it's a shame when I see those mistakes :) I am too lazy to preview all my posts before submission.. delete discussion- like if you have discussion with no responses,you can just delete it,no other mylotters would be affected only you who started it.

I'd like to see an instan messenger of some sort. Somethimng kind of like what Myspace has. The ability to remove our own posts would be nice too, for those moments of stupidty we all have from time to time, lol.

Those all sound like useful features, except maybe the signature and "favourite comments" feature. A comment on your discussions probably wouldn't make much sense in a sortie outside of the discussion topic. There isn't enough space on the discussion pages to put a signature without it becoming annoying. I like the idea of polls. People who don't feel like posting would still be able to respond by voting. =]

I would like Copy and Paste for users with less than 500 discussions also.If they do this to prevent spamming,how come it won't occur with a user with 500+ posts ? It puzzles me . And an edit button is also required when posting New Discussions or responses .

Smileys! I'd love to be able to choose a mood smiley instead of constantly typing in "(insert whatever smiley here)" . I'm with ya on the other features too, but smileys are practically a friggin necessity in a forum, don't ya think? I would be thrilled to have the normal 250 character limit for a signature as well...or at least be able to link my site to my username...considering my site is my username, lol, just add a dot com to it and viola! A delete button would be nice for when one wishes to remove a post as well, but I can see why they don't let us have that option. It would diminish their content greatly. Smi-leez! Smi-leez! Shall we chant until we get our way? hahahaha

To be honest, I don't have anything to add because you already mentioned all the things I would like to have on the site. I think the one I would want the most would be the "Edit" button. Wait....I just thought of something I would like to have on the site.....a way to delete your discussions that haven't received a single response for a long long time. I have one of those, and it drives me nuts when I look at it! LOL

I recently signed up for Rotatrix Friends Network, but after reading their compensation terms, I unsubbed. It was a complicated MLM system. But there were some features on it I liked, that I wish MyLot had. I agree with all of your suggestions, especially the "edit" button and signature. I like the idea of polls, too. I'd also like to see games. I think we could tap into the Pogo.com demographic, and if Mylot offered to pay people to play games (guaranteed money, even if it's pennies, rather than a hope to win a jackpot) it would attract a lot of users. Hi there. The must feature I think would benefit me here on mylot, would be an "Edit Button" and a post "Payrise" lol...

There is an category for surveys - but its not allowed to be something like - how old are you or the like. I'd like different search filters. I did a thread like this once. Sometimes I've responded the day before to like ten discussions - or more and sometimes those discussions have pages and pages. Since I want to answer my discussions as much as possible and my own curiousity never abates, start new threads, it be great if - well instead of a search filter, if you get a little alarm or message on your profile when a comment you made to someone else was answered - or even your own threads. Some days, the day before I started several threads, plus I or someone else went back to an old one. So there are so many threads and pages to sift through. It be nice if we can put notes under each friend to remember things about them - especially things you have in common!

Spell check. Edit button would be nice. I'd like to be able to change the order of my friend around on my friends list. I'd drag my more active friends to the top. It would be easier for me to make sure to return the favor of responses to their discussions. That's about all I can think of right now. Can we delete our private messages? I haven't figured out how to do that.

the features i want to add here is having an edit caption to discussion that you are the one who created it so if you need to edit something, or if you forget to include some words in it you can easily change it or correct it to avoid confussion from responders. also i want to add a feature where you will know the last log or activity of a member here in mylot. i hope they would also give more detail summary of our earnings how they computed it. And i agree that they should give extra credit to those people who gives quality post and more efforts here in mylot. God bless!

Hey, your getting better! Great topic too. I would especially like to see smiley face capabilities here. The polls are a good idea and we should get paid something for them too.
