I agree with you on that point. We can love only one. Love cannot be shared among three people.

Depends on the situation. There are many types of love too. There's love for family. There is love for close friends. There is love for mom, dad, brothers and sisters. There is love for ones own children. And finally there is love for the opposite gender. If you are talking about polygamy, I'm not much on it. I really don't think there is love to all involved (or if it is its really a lesser form of it, not really equal). Of course I could be wrong but I've seen it in this context before.
