Are men really born polygamous????

If you look back at nature ( where our basic instincts come from ) the male of most species tries to reproduce with as many females as possible in order to ensure that his genes are being passed on. The female dosen't have this desire. Whatever kids she has are definently hers so she tries to find the best possible suitor. Thats the basic thinking of most species about reproduction. Those basic instincts still reside at the bese of our subconscious. Being civilized hasn't completely removed it. Thats why these problems continue to exist. Its a matter of civilization aginst basic nature. There could never be a perfect woman that would fix that because thats not the cause. Now as for men not expressing their feelings, we do. However unlike women we wear ours openly & don't exagerate or overcomplicate them. Women don't seem to understand that. They expect there to be more hiding or for our feelings to be more complicated then they are. If you pay attention their usually odvious. If you ask & really listen we'll probably spill it all in one sentence because we feel that covers it. I hope that helps a bit.

Well genetically its there. But thanks to society, ethics and honor some men do not act on this. Also, some women are polygamous, check some of the maternal societies of the past. This is also a genetic response in a way since the woman is looking for the best genetic material in order to have the best child. Conversely, men look for multiple women in order to spread their seed more and have a better chance of their genetics surviving. Gah, and I promised myself no more "Brain-ing" ;p

Not all men are born polygamous. I'm naturally monogamous. Of course, my wife helps me out quite a bit by leaving me no reason whatsoever to desire or have need of any other woman.
