The USA team seems to be back on track as they stay perfect as they beat a world champion Argentina. Can they regain the lost glory on 2008 olympics?

I think they would only get the bronze, that is my prediction to this new team, with Kobe and Chauncey Billups and Micheal Redd

What is with Kobe, Billups and Redd? Kobe knows how to share the ball. Billups is good in protecting the ball. Redd is dangerous beyond the arc.

team USA has added poor shooters into their team since that is what they lack in the previous olympics in which they lost so they added Michael Redd and Mike Miller, players who made their career by shooting

Argentina is no longer world champion, Spain is. Distance between USA players n the rest of the world has decreased dramatically. In the next 10 years, USA players will only win Olympics etc if they really bring the best players, their real national team, as the other nations do. But they dont win with just a good team anymore. If they don't improve tactically and technically, their physical advantage will disappear in 10 years or so.

I believe one of the reasons why they allow zone defense in the NBA as this is the defense that really killed them in the olympics since they are not used to this kind of defense

with their current line-up being lead by kidd and kobe i believe that this time they will bring back the basketball glory back to the US. aside from their great talents they have a great chemistry and teamwork. kidd, kobe and chauncy brings veteran leadership to the us team. in order to win the gold they must focus on every game and must underestimate any team just like what happen in their game against greece.
