I have not tried it but I am not sure I would like it. I think it's because most of the time when I scrap I do it with friends or family and it would lose something in the art work if I wasn't putting my head together for new ideas with the ones I care about most!

True. When you are doing the traditional method, you will get lots of ideas and will def have fun.

I have never used scrapbook very much. I am sorry to say that I am not very good at computer. I know just a little, the very basic knowledge about it. Smiling.

I've just gotten into scrapbooking recently, and I'm working on my first scrapbook right now. It is a traditional scrapbook, although I have seen some digital scrapbooks that look really nice too. I may look more into digital scrapbooking once I finish the one I'm working on. It sounds interesting, though I still think the traditional way is fun too. :)

i prefer standard scrapping. cos I like to make my pages pop out. and have texture.
digital scrapping is nice, and there are more options of looks and all, but it's harder to access (stored in a computer) unless you print it out. I guess digital scrapping makes it easier to share moments and layouts with friends, but taking photos of real layouts also makes sharing possible.

I was fascinated by the scrapbooking hobby and first tried my hands in the digital mode. But it was not so much fun. It is great fun to collect the necessary items that needed for scrapbooking whenever and whereever you go. Though I have not started with the traditional scrapbooking, just waiting for a good time, and have collected lots and lots of items to do a scrapbook.

I really prefer the old fashioned way to scrapbook, that when I am gone the kids will have something tangible to hang onto. I have tried the digital scrap booking, and they have some really cute layouts, but I find my creativity is stifled.

I like the traditional method of scrapbooking also. I have experimented with digital scrapbooking, but I just felt like I was cheating. Plus it costs alot to get the pages printed. But one thing I did do to the pages that I printed out, I added some embellishments and ribbons to the page so it wouldn't look so flat. That's another reason why I prefer the traditional method, I like to make things "pop" out on my page.

I have never done digital scrapbooking, But I feel I would still enjoy standard scrapbooking more...I love all the stuff that goes with it...I really feel like I'm making something and I just love designing with all the cute little embelishments and such...I definitely don't get that kind of rush from other digital stuff I have done.

I'd much rather do it by hand. Gives me more a satisfied feeling of accomplishment and it is great "therapy" and just a pleasure to do. You can do so much more by hand. Digital is limited - I mean no brad, eyelets, bulkey embelliehments, envelopes, fibers, buttons - all those things are my favorite things to use! Especially bulky stuff. Tags and glitter and all. My blog Scrapbook Layout Ideas (link is in my profile) has all my personal layouts. I have just been sharing my ideas, giving tips and suggestions - just encourageing scrapbooking as I believe it is just the best way to preserve memories. I started my grand daughter on SBing when she was 4 and she just loves it. I started with 20 years of photos of my kids (one kid was 20, theother 16), then backtracked from there of my own life - and back to a kid days. 45 years organized really quick and look at that album often! Love hte memories!
