do you feel this is true? yes i do.... when im down i really make a point to find someone i can really talk too. a friend who is always there and listen to all the aches i want to blurt out. and when im happy i am so excited to call my mom, sister and friends to tell what happened. how about you?

Yep thats how I feel. It happens on mylot and there are plenty of examples of it. Just let one person really cry out and several rush to them. They share the sorrow, but they realize they are not alone. Thus the sorrow is limited and countered. When they share the joy you can almost see the jubilant nature of everyone involved, thus the joy is augmented and spread.
