If we were stuck on an island...what would you bring to keep us busy?

I think it would be interesting to see what you would bring that would keep us busy until we got saved....

Well, you didn't give me a limit of things. Can we bring people? Because if we can I want to bring Joaquin Phoenix. After that, I'd want a knife, a roll of toilet paper, my Bible, a crossword puzzle book, my two dogs (they would take care of the mice population on the island), and a pair of tennis shoes. Hopefully my outfit didn't get torn when I was shipwrecked. And since it's an island, maybe I can find different types of fruit to eat.

Of course silly. You get Joaquin on the weekends. And Labor Day is almost up, so you better act fast. : )

I would bring my husband and my son, at least being stuck in that island, i'll be happy and wont get bored because I have them, this is also a great time for bonding with no high tech machines around, of course there maybe a water to swim for, and go for fishing. And stroll around the island. It maybe like a great vacation for us before the rescue come to save us.

Food, shelter and clothing would take most of the time, so unless you brought them, you would be busy until you got saved.

Is there a limit to how much we can take? I wouldn't take anything technological, because I think that defeats the purpose - I would use it as a getting-back-to-nature experience of sorts. Candles, building equipment, books, a pack of cards & probably my beautiful boyfriend. (This is assuming that there are plants and food-sources on the island)

I would bring a solar powered computer. With my solar powered computer I can keep in contact with the rest of the planet and enjoy media. Shallow I know, but...

Well, my pc but an island probably wouldn't have electric or DSL so I'd have to resort to a deck of cards and we'd be playing rummy and such until we could get off the island. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Island - a tiny little island
I would bring my hubby and daughter, in return you could pick 2 members of your family. Then I'd bring bubbles, and some toys for my daughter so she doesn't get bored, BUT believe me with my daughter only being 15 months she would keep us VERY busy and entertained! I was going to say a computer with internet access, but if you have communication with the outside world your not really stuck then are you?
