Is Mylot worth it to you?

I have seen on the board a lot of frustration lately regarding Mylot's lower payments and the lack of people participating. I know from my own experience that there seems to be a lot less activity than there was in January of this year when I joined. I know we all enjoy our friends, but as far as the money goes, is Mylot worth it to you? Do you ever think about quitting?

I'm in the same boat as the previous poster. I have only been here for a few weeks and really don't see myself staying here for the money. I really don't think it's worth the time or effort to make money on here.... but it is a great site for discussion and hearing others views.
What about you? Do you think about quitting?

I'm still new. When you say that price has dropped a lot by how much do you mean?

Yes i do agree that there is frustation regarding low payout on mylot but still we should be happy that it is actually paying. I was away from mylot for some time and was busy posting on cashposting which pays more but one fine day the webpage started displaying your account has been banned without my logging in. dont know how to contact the webmaster for reasons. Atleast this is not the case here. so i would stay along.

Yeah I can say since I have been a member here I have gotten close to $200.00 for my time here. So yes it's worth it. I mean it's money from having fun, meeting new people and sharing my thoughts. So I think it's pretty cool. No, I don't think I will ever quit, I am here till mylot kicks me out, LOL.

Yes, I think MyLot is worth it. I am sometimes amazed at how people gripe about the amount of their payment. I'm like, this isn't a job, no one owes us anything. It's basically free money. And those pennies add up. I am defnite proof of that. As are many others.
Besides that, I gain valuable input from others, I've met a whole lot of interesting people. I've been advised on how to save money, deal with issues with my pets, and a lot more.
Sometimes people get down because they don't get many responses to their conversations. I would hope they would look for more friends, and delete the ones that haven't given them the time of day once they were added to their lists.
But I did think about quitting two months ago. I had a bit of burnout. But that's gone and I'm happy to be here, chatting with you!

I've only posted 3 photos early on when I joined months ago, and none since. I don't even have that capability right now. And I don't have any referrals either. I wish I did. Someone else could be helping me make money while I took a break! LOL
I think just constantly putting my time to good use has gotten me far. I go thrugh my friend's discussions first, because I have all their e-mail notifications in my inbox. I reply to every one that I can add something to. And then I search out other discussions. I don't 'piddle' unless it is late at night and I can't sleep. I always try to leave at least 3 legit lines of an answer, but that isn't always possible. And starting discussions that are relevant will get a person money fast. I see some posters talk about vague things, and that's fine, this is supposed to be fun. But to earn money from it, some of our discussions have to be adaptable to each person and hopefully each country.
But I'm not an expert. If I were, I'd have TWO hundred dollars! : )

I am fairly new here and have not earned alot for my time. It is interesting though as I have never done this before so I am a real newbie. I have learned alot and have found some other paying sites through some of the people here. Every one has been real nice so far and the little that I earn is okay for right now, it all adds up. i know I have to get referrals to earn any quality of money. so far I do not think about quitting.

I think it is worth it. I think of the money as just a small perk. but most days I earn 10-15 cents give or take. yesterday I earned 27 cents.

You can get good information, here, that is for sure. yesterday I post 1 discussion, got over 20 responses, and from that reponse, I got only 5 cents. If people had of keep conversation going I know it would of been more, so I have figured out how this thing goes.

Almost from the very beginning I was not attracted to Mylot for the money. It seems to me to be a great social network for....let's say...more mature people.
I had been on Yahoo Answers and found out about Mylot there.
The money any web site offers for your participation is only a carrot used to get you to join and participate. Can you just imagine what it would cost them if they paid you well? They would not be in business long.

Well I will stay here, because I need the writing practice and I need the money, even a little is better than none. However, someone is abusing the report button because when I returned from my weekend, I found I had gone down two points and I was very restrained, but I guess that the only subjects that these abusers prefer are those where everyone agrees with their philosophy and very safe subjects such as "how's the weather" or "what is your favorite color" or "I believe we should help one another" and "I do not mind people of different---" I am waiting until I get my Old Age Security and then perhaps I might cut down on myLot, but I will not quit.

so far , I enjoy all the times I am here in myLot. I've been a member for almost nine months now but been active just for the past three months... I am happy with my earnings because I know my capacity to be here, the time I invested in joining discussions is limited..so I wanted to maximize in the future.

If it's only for money, MyLot is not the place, it's good to be here because there are so many interesting people and topics, and you could use this as a platform for other businesses where you make money.

I think I will stay with mylot as long as I could and as long as there are still nice people out here that are posting. The money is definitely not enough if we are talking about paying the bills, but I'm not here for the money. It is just for fun, I'm just enjoying being here. The payment is just like some sort of a bonus =)

The question is, before you joined here in Mylot, have you read any articles regarding this program that says that YOU CAN EARN SOME EXTRA MONEY in Mylot?
The words EXTRA MONEY means, not that much!
And so, we should expect that mylot is just for part time online job ok?
And have you noticed any words that says, To be able to EARN more here, HARD WORK is a plus!
Meaning, if we really work hard here by posting discussions, responding to as many discussions we can and reffering people then we can really earn more here in MYlot!
Frustration is always around and so, we cant really help it!
It just that, it's all up to us how can we handle it!
I do have some frustrations here in mylot but i know what mylot could offer that's why im handling my frustration here POSITIVELY.
Have a nice day ahead from Kiko and happy posting and earning here!
