There are so many different kinds of vitamins and supplements on the market, it's hard to know what works and what's just out there to be out there. What sorts of vitamins or supplements do you take on a regular basis?
I take a centrum multi-vitamin everyday and can really feel the difference in my energy levels if I miss a day or two. I also take an oderless garlic supplement for my Asthma and a stinging nettle leaf supplement for my sinuses. If I'm feeling a bladder infection come on (once you get one, they come back all the time) then I'll take some cranberry supplements. Oh and in the cold and flu season I take vitamin C to help me heal quicker if I get one and avoid catching them as well.

I take Calcium, B12, iron, and that is about it. I should be taking Vitamin E to help with the iron..I almost think I am forgetting something...hmmm

See it totally works! That's it I am going to steal her vitamins and start taking it myself. You know ever since the whole finding white hairs and eye wrinkles, I've been freaking out about getting older. I'm 26, my "good old days" shouldn't be over yet!! LOL!

I've heard that B12 is great for the skin, my mom takes it in a little vitamin packet that she gets, some Susan Lucci youth stuff. It works though, she's almost 51 and nobody believes she's over 35.

I am odd, I don't really take any vitamins or supplments. I guess I just don't like pill-form stuff in general. But I think I am going to take some calcium because I am not a big fan of milk and I should really get more calcium in my body. Other than that, I don't really want to take any of the vitamins or supplements.

Right I hate the smell of the milk lingers in my mouth! But I am fine with soya milk, so I drink high calcium soya milk from time to time to replenish my calcium, I think I should drink it more regularly though.

Yeah that's what I don't like too. Plus if I drink anything more than 2%, it will upset my stomach. I've tried soy milk but I'm not a fan. I like rice milk though but it's hard to find.

I'm not a big pill fan either but I've been taking medication all of my life so when I dropped all of the harsh chemical medications that I was taking, I decided to replace them with more natural alternatives. In the long run it has worked a million times better and my vitamins don't make me feel sick like the medications did.
Calcium is important, I get that in my multi-vitamin. I'm the same as you and I'm not a big fan of milk. I'll only every drink it as cream in coffee or chai tea and occationally chocolate milk but I can't stand to drink it regular.

I normally take poten cee and sangobion. sangobion is an iron supplement while poten cee (vitamin c) helps in the absorption of iron. that's what I always take when my mother bugs me to go to the doctor andhave a check-up. ^__^;;

I had never heard of those but I'll look into it, both my mother and I are anemic so iron is always an issue for us. I'm so glad you shared!

hello gmakesmoney
i don't take those multivitamins or supplements to boast up my health though my mom goes on nagging me to take them.i believe in natural remedies and i go for it.i always make sure that i have a healthy and nutritious diet and that too consistently.i like getting my nutrients and all those vitamins and minerals from my diet.so i take lots of green veggies, spinach, brocolli, salmon, sardines, almonds, sesame, lots of fruits and many more.
i am lactose intolerant so i don't take milk or any dairy products.usually i go for natural foods that can give me calcium like oranges, seaweed, wakame, okra sardines, beans etc..
but if i am having some serious trouble then i don't have any option.ultimate is to take those supplements.

I try and do the same and get as many vitamins and minerals from my diet as well. I feel it's better to go for natural remedies than chemical ones so the supplements that I do take are all natural and organic as well.

A mult-vitamin is what I take. I sometimes take hair-skin-and nails formula. If I don't take that for a long period of time, my hair starts to fall out, my nails become brittle, and my gums hurt. I didn't have those problems until I had my gallbladder out.
Stinging nettle for sinuses, how wonderful! Haven't heard of it for that, but it sounds intersting. I mostly eat a lot of the stuff you take vitamins for. LIke I drink cranberry juice and I put fresh garlic in lots of things.

I eat them as well when I can, the cranberry and garlic that is. The stinging nettle has worked great, it was reccomended by a pharmacist at a natural pharmacy and it works and I get less sinus headaches. It's also helped me to keep off any weight that I loose.
My mother takes a hair-skin vitamin packet and her hair grows 10 times faster than mine does! Maybe I should take it too?

You have a natural pharmisist? I am so jealous. We have all we can do to keep natural Drs.

We do and it's great, I'm really surprised too because around here people are quicker to go to chemicals vs. naturals. It's a very expensive pharmacy but they sell quality items.
