Oh my! I think I finally did it! It's been a whole week and I haven't had a single cigarette. I wouldn't say that I haven't been tempted for the whole time, but I don't let myself to have one! So have you quited smoking already? What's your experience with it? If you are a smoker, are you planning to quit?

Well done on quitting, you'll feel healthier and of course save alot of money because you have quitted......even food will start to taste different. I was a heavy smoker for 5 years and then a social smoker for 2 before I quit, my family benefited from me doing so.

Good for you! I feel that my breathing system is getting on track already! I should start running later to get it all back up the gear! Yes I think the food starts to taste nicely and I can tell the difference *laughs*.

Bless your heart and you go girl! That is awesome and you just keep up the great work.
As for me sadly I have not stopped smoking yet. I am afraid the will power is not there. I do hope someday I will be successful with it.

Don't worry! I tried quitting for a couple times but in vain! I am sure one day, when you really get tired of it, it will all happen. No pressure is the key!

I have tried stopping smoking so many times in the past but i always go back to smoking.I do not have plans anymore of stopping and i will just let it be until i really decide to stop. A small kid told me how , he said "...just don't think about it!" , and he is very right, the more we say to ourselves to stop smoking and deliberately do something to stop smoking means that we are still contemplating of smoking, so what is the use if we still think about it? what we resist, persists. If i want to stop smoking , i should not be thinking about it.

At some point, I hated thinking about smoking and "needing" to smoke and therefore I said to myself I had enough of it. I tried quitting before but I wasn't really serious. This time, I smoked my last pack and I told myself that's it! I don't think about it again. Yes, if your brain doesn't think about it, then it will work!

I am so proud of you! As a person interested in skin care, I know that you know that the best thing you can do for your skin is to quit smoking! Congratulations. I used to try everything I could think of to get one friend to quit smoking and then one day I was fed up and I just said to her, you know you are still a young woman, but your skin is gray! It turned out her boyfriend had recently told her the same thing and she dumped him for it. But when I told her she quit! Really! And in a few months her skin was pretty again and she got a new and better boyfriend really fast and never smoked again.

Yes, doing it slowly is good too! I think it's all in the brain, really. I have done some research and it's really all in the brain. I am sure if your brain gives you signals of addiction, your brain has the power to break up with the addiction. I wish you all the very best!

wow!. congratulations.. you know that it is quite hard for a smoker to fight the temptations of smoking and the like.. however you have made it through a week withoug haveing a single puff!. i hope that you will continue what you are doing and i hope that you can eventually quit smoking.. i suggest, to reinforce your commitment in quitting smoking, you engage in active sports or go to the gym and the like so that you will have an impetus for not smoking.. goodluck and have a nice day!.

That sounds nice.you have great tolerance and hence you were able to quit smoking.I have seen so many people struggling to quit smoking whatever hard ways they try.Anyone keep this policy not to smoke again.I have also seen some of my friends quit smoking and feel better thereafter.
have a wonderful day !

I don't smoke but I would congratulate you because you have tried to get rid of it. It is better for your health. A nice girl like you who doesn't smoke will be much more attractive.
My dad smoked in the past and he quit it a few years ago. It is not easy. When he felt like smoking, then he would go to do some housework. Then after some time, he didn't want to smoke any more.
Please stick to it and do not smoke again. I'm with you:) I hope you will succeed it at last.

I am a smoker, beforetime,I tried to quit smoking, but I found that I didn't do it.Because sometimes there was very bad mood to me,I couldn't help smoking.Smoking will give some comfortable and let me keep calmness. So I don't want to quit it,although I know smoking is bad for health. But I hope everyone don't smoking, and I am envious of you, good luck with you!

Congratulations! It wasn't really easy to quit. I have lots of friends who tried (but I'm not sure if they are determined though) and they failed. I used to smoke when I was still studying, it started just out of curiosity. I just did it occassionally, when we are at a party or having a good time that's why it is easy for me to stop.

Hello there!(",)
I really would like to congratulate you for a job well done! Keep it up. I believe it's been hard for you but for sure it pays off because it's all worth it. I'm not a smoker and didn't try it and will never try it.
I hope others will emulate you for that. As they say, if there is a will, there is a way.
God bless and take care always!(",)
