I pay $25 (approximately Rs.1100) to Air Tel for the broadband connection I have with 256 KBPS. I believe still higher speed is available, but this one is good. It is a home plan, unlimited usage, unlimited downloads. A phone is provided where incoming is free. I never use the phone for outgoing because it is expensive.

Thanks for responding! I am using BSNL broadnband (100mbps) & the services are good. My friends were using sify & airtel, now they have also got BSNL broadband as they found it more affordable & worth it. They were having some issues with sify & airtel broadband connection.

I hate BSNL. My brother and myself got bills for Rs.20,000+ for BSNL broadband connections. The charges are for additional downloading. Whereas in Air Tel for the same money, there is unlimited downloading. For me Airtel is the best.

I pay about $40 each month for high speed cable internet. My online earnings don't come close to meeting that need. Unfortunately, my disability interferes with my making money online as I am sick frequently and in pain often. * I do other things online that warrant having an online connection. I make purchases on the PC that I can't get locally in my community. Sometimes, the online savings are considerable. Online shopping also prevents use of gas, moving small boxes is less costly than moving large cars long distance. * My computer allows me to stay connected with family out of state. My land line telephone is limited, meaning it will only call folks in town. The computer works well as a fax machine.

More than I should. $50/mo. Hubby has to have a certain ammount of broadband for going on line with his Xbox360. I wish we had a bit more competition. With one option for Cable internet, one for DSL and one for Wireless they price it what ever they want to.
