Do You Sort of Have a To-Do-List?

Do you have a to-do-list? If so, would it usually be for a day or a week or even a month? Are those the stuff you need to desperately finish or are those the stuff you want to finish? Will the items be completed usually before the time line? I sort of have a to-do-list every month and it's mostly dealt with the things I wish to complete online. Oh well, since I am only a weak human being *laughs really hard*. I admit that I always miss things out in the list, either I feel lazy or I don't have the mood/ time to complete certain things. But I hope that one day my persistence would kick in and I would complete the whole list for once *laughs*. What about you?

I try to have one when I really need to. Sometimes things get so crazy I just need to write it down to get my thoughts together. Usually I do not have one though.

Yes I usually do and I swear I change them on an hourly basis but I do like having a schedule. I try hard to keep a similar routine but I get bored easily so that is why I change it so much.

not all the time. i dont have much work to do here in the office and they are usually routinary. i prepare ato do list if i have an upcoming project or im preparing for something. that is only when i have a report, or something personal that i have to tackle. my to-do list is usually ona per day basis. i have to finish my prepared to-do list within the day or if im procrastinating, then the next day.

My need to organize things into To-Do lists goes a little beyond compulsive. Fortunately for people like me they have, in addition to PDA's (and I've put more fancy stuff on mine than some guys put on their cars!) a new upgrade to ConceptWorld's sticky-note software. It is called NoteZilla and the minute I met it I was in love. http://www.conceptworld.com/ Notezilla lets you insert your favorite photos in the electronic post-it type sticky notes and you can change the font size and color and the background color and theme. You can organize the notes on different bulletin boards. You can stick them to different windows in your favorite programs, download them to a PDA, and print them. You can stick or unstick them or send them somewhere, resize them, roll them up to save space. You can preset alarms for one-time only or to reoccur hourly, daily, monthly--even years ahead of time. Of course this is assuming your computer will still be running. Like you, though, being human, I do still find ways to put off doing what I should and ignore the alarms from time to time. Just knowing that I have them makes me more comfortable though and I can always put the ones I don't want to do now on my favorite NoteZilla Bulletin Board which I've named "Do it Later!"

Oh sounds like a really neat and intelligent system *smiles*. Yes I am only human after all and I tend to do things according to the mood. And my mood hasn't really been diligent lately. But lucky that if I set my mind strongly to something, I will stick with it until I am done with it.

I actually have a paper pad of To-Do that I got at the dollar store. I haven't used any yet because they are set up weekly and I keep forgetting about the on monday and I don't want to start filling one out in the middle of the week (I'm wierd about stuff like that). But I do make to do lists for myself almost daily in my notebook and I do plan to use my pre-made lists soon. I rarely get everything on them done but I blame that mostly on you people here on mylot for distracting me (hahaha) and on me writing down too many things to possibly get done in a day.

*laughs* Right blame us for all the good reasons! Anyway, I seldom get things on my list done too, especially those "I want to" list! I got distracted way too often!

Hello wondericequeen, I never have things-to-do-list. Even if I have one, I think I will spend more time thinking what to write for my to-do-list. Whenever I have time, I like to scribble what few things I want to do next and throw it away after that. I seldom stick to it. My life is such a routine that I will do every thing accordingly like it is already set in my mind *laughs*

*laughs* My routines, I will have to stick to them. But for things I want to do? I change my mind too often. But usually I have set the priority in my head. Like today, I need to get done here quick and proceed with something else and come back later on!

I usually compile my to do list at night, it contains my gym workout routine which is early morning, the things i need to do in office or official task. I also sometimes chicken out of things on the list due to being lazy :) Its sorta of day to day to-do list actually!

yes i make a to do list daily.. on that list i jot down things that i have to do that day or want to get doen that day... i cross them off as i go. at the end of the day i take acount of all the things that i did not complete that day early on and i start a new list with those things on them as well as new things that i have thought of needing or i wanting to be done.. and then hopefully the following day will start with the previous days chores as to where my day to day to do list becomes a nver ending list... ill list write things anywhere from doing dishes, or laundry, mopping floors, to unfreezing the chicken, to picking up milk, to dusting, to organizeing bills, to changing sheets, or hanging pictures, picking up presents or whatnot, to taking the tub of christmas items out of the shed and putting the halloween ones away, washing car and so and so party on such a such date..it seems all messed up really but its quite organized if you take a look at it. LOL

I make myself a to-do list every day! If I didn't I wouldn't ever get anything done, I would play with my kids and just watch TV =) And with my list it makes me feel like I accomplished something when I look at it and see everything that I have crossed off for the day. But of course there are days when I don't get much done, but for the most part it keeps me on track.

I am a big list maker. I have to do lists for the day and for the month. I am always revising the lists, adding and taking things off. My kids think I am nuts, but if it isnt' written down, I forgot what I wanted to get done.

I used to keep a to-do list when I am doing my part-time degree course. However, I'm not discipline enough to follow it strictly.

Hi, I normally keep to do list. It helps me to do the things on time. Sometimes i keep it pending but i usually try to do it on time. List of things may be related to different things. It can be things to buy, or things to do online, or other household chores, or bills to pay etc. It really helps me to do it on time.

Yes I have many to do lists, on my computer, on big and small pieces of paper on my desk, plus the ones I have in my head that never make it into a proper list! My greatest joy of course is to cross things out, or to discard a piece of paper altogether! I have recently discovered "Stickies" and one can have them in different colours, sizes and write on them with assorted letter colours as well. They sort of "stick" on your desktop and I find them extremely helpful in my effort to stay organised!

Hi! I also have a to-do list of my own. And really it's helping me get organize, though, i should admit some of them are dealt with long overdue already.lol But i make sure that those important ones are acted as soon as possible. They are listed according to it's priority so i know what are those that need to be settled a.s.a.p and those that could wait 'till i'll have the time and the will to do it. lol
