We are in modern technologies and every year there are new product in the market like the cell phones that are popular nowadays. All most all people have it. It is small and easy to bring anywhere you go plus it had many used other than being a phone to communicate with others. While landlines are for home used only, still many are using it. So what do you think a landline or cell phones? What will you prefer to use between the two?

If you are working and most of the time you must be out of your home then make use of your cellphone. If you stay in the house and more often your not working then make use of the landline. Of course cellphone loads are more expensive thatn the landline calls, but if you are not frequent users of cp you will also spend less. As to new cellphones, me at first, I wanted to have the latest in cp but later on I realized, I dont need those more improved cellphone, all I want is to have something to text, to call and no need for some other cp uses. It depends really on who will use.

I prefer using the cellphn.. Its much more conveniant.. Also u don't need to run towards the phn when there's a call u need to pick.. Calling thru cellphn is also cheaper than landlines, so why wud ne1 like the landlines?? But there's still sm use left with these landlines.. I still use them to make std and isd calls, which are still quite expensive if I try making them thru my cellphn..

Neither one! I prefer to use my VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone, as it is portable and inexpensive, with the sound quality of a landline, but many more features. We got rid of our landline phone long ago, and although we carry a cell phone in the car for emergencies, we do nearly all of our local and long distance calling by VOIP.

I prefer a landline over a cellphone, because it is less expensive. Right now I don't have either a cellphone or a landline, because I am opting to use a computer/internet phone, which is cheape, still. I am able to make phone calls, and only pay a penny a minute anywhere in North America.

I use www.Voip.com for my home phone since i only have to pay $199 per yr. for calling anywhere anytime and the quality is great. You can take or leave thier phone. All you need is a high speed connection. you can port your existing #. They also offer cellular VOIp so I use that with my cell phone too. Here in Canada i use virgin mobile for the best rates and priced phones but for those in the US I sell phones at www.cellphoneriver.com/?honeycat or give me a toll-free call 1-866-594-6250

If you would ask me 1 year ago, I would tell you sell phone.I think I was addicted to it, I have to always text to somebody and call, oh my god I was crazy. Now if I don't have one, I don't miss it, how I though I will.I have landline and if somebody want call , they would call here, if I am not home, they can leave message.I am sure we need sometimes sell phone, wne we travel somewhere, but we don't need it every day.

These are 2 different devices.
But now there is a wireless "landline" in the Philippines that you can actually bring with you. You can make calls while travelling or anything and theres no additional charge except for the monthly fee for the service. The motnhly fee is actually lower than the competitions regular landline fee.
