Whether there should be any educational criteria for politicians or not

i think the most important thing is that they can help the people and the leadership to lead the people . Education is a Plus to that . You might study a lot but you might not be a good leader

I think so that there should be some educational criteria for the politicians. If this is missing then anyone can become a politician. I just read yesterday that ABU SALEM who is a big Criminal is trying to fill his application for in India. If this would become the case then every Criminal would join the politics and there would not be any decorum in the society.

Majority of the politicians have a bad past history. They jump classes, they influence the question paper setters, they influence the valuers and they ensure they get good marks. People should be educated to ensure that they vote a honest man as their representative. It is also good idea that these scroundrels should have postgraduation degree in social work.

There has to be a education criteria for politicians...they have to be atleast graduate or MBA plus there has to be a special exam to join politics which will be based on pilitical studies. MSomeone said there are people who are not educated & still they are good leaders..it might be true but it is not possible on mass level & that is ehat spoiling politics. When a person is educated his mind set, behaviour,attitude changes it make s a lot of diff. And beacuse politicians are not eductated politics is bcm dirty in country like India...eg Abdul kalam,Manmohan singh compared to politicians like Ajit Pawar ( majr chunk is of politicians like this which is making the politics dirty)

yes i think politicians should have a basic degree criteria to contest the elections,,,,, then only the country can imporve
