Has Your Typing Speed Increased Since You Joined Mylot?

Well congrats for having increased your typing speed because of Mylot. For me, although my typing speed remains the same, I can still thank Mylot for increasing my number of friends all over the world and also for giving me the chance to at least practice my use of the English language. It seems the same. But somehow others think I should be the fastest typist around according to the length of some of my posts and discussions. But its not just speed that does that, its also thought and commentary. As for my typing speed its probably 100+ wpm. Maybe even faster since I do dexterity exercises with the fingers.

Havn't improved much. Infact i don't stay here for long time.

I think it has increased a little and I did notice my hands are getting stronger!

yeah my typing has increased. i find that i am typing more wpm. it was 25, but now its 35.

Yup.I can say that my writing ability and ideas increased when I started to join mylot because I am always posting here and I can say that I am an active member and mylot is really a big help for me to improve my skills in writing.:-0 GOd bless and have a nice day.:-0

Earlier I also used to take part in at least 50 discussions per day and it really has increased my speed as well. Mylot is too good for many things such as information, interaction and this speed thing is also a benfit.

im still a slow typer but im learning im proud of myself for that....................................................

i think it has, before joining here i used to type really slow. now it has incraesed a lot as i get.i think mylot is a great site to larn new things.

I used to be a touch typist and could boast a typing speed of around 75 wpm in my day. Since joining here I have been able to bring my speeds back up quite well and the practice is wonderful. I do not have to look at my keyboard and am back to my touch typing speeds.

I guess there hasnt been a lot of difference in my typing capabilities. I used to type fast even before joining mylot and that has been a great help for me do some good discussions and posts here. Well infact i did improve my writing skills in the sense discussing on a particular topic and so on.

Yes, my typing speed has improved since joining myLot. I was just thinking about this and started a new discussion about it, as I didn't notice that there was already a discussion here. I thought it would be only fair if I posted here so that you get more responses as I did not mean to copy it, I just posted it without realising.

In college I took up typing also and from there I learned how to type, the actual typing speed. I type fast when not looking at the board itself. At least in mylotting I am practicing my typing speed. I started off with manual typewriters and they were amazed how I type without looking at the board. With the electric typewriters and the computers typing is more easy.

lol, no this is my third day and when i started i could alraedy type fast. So maybe if i keep on mylot. But i type a lot so maybe my typing speed will be increased a little bit! My english though will be improving a lot! =D

I have a moderate typing speed and when I joined mylot I think that I really am benefiting my skill in typing. I am able to respond to other discussions quickly. If you used to open two windows at a time, I used to open four windows at a time sometimes more than four so that I don’t have to wait for the window to open or load. I think mylot, aside from giving mylotters fun, helps members to improve their typing skills.

At the earlier stage my spelling is horrible poor so do my typing speed as well while I am doing mylotting. After practicing for a considerable period of time, my spellings improve a lot and my typing speed increase too.

I think that my typing it actually has gotten faster also. I have really been posting and responding to a lot of the messages. This site is great and I love it and, so the more I use the program the bettter my typing speed is going to get you know.

You actually just gave me an idea that I had never thought of before, i've never thought about having two windows open at one time before. I think that since I joined mylot.com my typing has became alot better because on mylot you are typing all the time and usually little paragraphs. I have really enjoyed working on mylot and it also helps me in other departments such as typing.

My typing speed ist brilliant ,but i do think if you are spending a while on Mylot you are quite focused and you actually do seem to type a little faster...The thing with my keyboard is that the letter n has gone a bit funny..so sometimes it misses it out!!

Yes, my speed has increased but unfortunately my accuracy has not! I find that I am getting rather careless as I get older but perhaps the imperativ is speed? I also find that keyboards are not reliable and I end up missing off 'e' and 'w' with alarming regularity.
