Even though this question arose from the discussions between evolution and creationism. The question is a question of faith. To the evolutionist an answer of faith toward evolution. To a creationist or Christian it is also an answer of faith toward God.
A second alternative question might be, "Which came first, God or man?" When you can answer this question the chicken/egg question is also answered. Did God create man, or did man create God? If God created man, then you can conclude he created the chicken also. If you believe man created God, then you would conclude there really is no God so something else caused life on earth. The evolutional theory is the only logical explanation.

Actually it's a simple biblical trivia question. I'm not asking whether anyone believes in the bible or not. I'm not asking about evolution or creationism. It's not a controversial topic or a trick question. It's not as complicated as you are making it. Although your answers are intriguing the question is simple.
According to the Bible, which came first, the chicken or the egg. The answer according to the bible would be the chicken because according to the bible God created all animals in adult form.

I don't see how you can derive that kind of conclusion. Of course He created the chicken also, but why egg first if God created man?

God created all the animals of the earth. So the chicken came before the egg. That would be my take on it.

If you want to go by the Genesis account...God created the heavens and the earth. Then, he said let there be light and divided the light from the darkness and called it day and night. 2nd day...created an expanse between the waters and called it sky. There was morning and evening. 3rd day...let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear. The dry ground was called land and the water called the seas. Then he said let the land produce seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it. 4th day...let there be lights to separate the day from the night. The greater light to light the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 5th day...Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky. 6th day...let the land produce living creatures, livestock, and wild animals. He then created man in His image, male and female and then said, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so. God rested on the 7th day. ( http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=1&chapter=1&version=31 )
So...the chicken came first.

Chickens and not egg. I believe God did not create baby Adam. He created adult Eve and adult Adam.

hhhmmmmm, I don't look at Genesis at face value, but it's made clear God created us and it all, and didn't just happen upon us and said, hey I will claim them, LOL. So honestly I think the chicken came first, but more of an evolution type way. It wasn't a chicken at first, but became one.
I know it's odd, but I wouldn't be me if it wasn't, LOL.
